The disclosure provides a protection device including a temperature detection circuit, a switch circuit, a control circuit, and a warning circuit. The temperature detection circuit outputs temperature signal to the control circuit. The control circuit obtains the temperature signal from the temperature detection circuit, and compares the temperature signal with a preset temperature range and outputs a first control signal. The warning circuit sends warning based on the first control signal.

Protection device

A controlling circuit for a fan includes three comparators, a capacitor, and a thermistor. When the temperature around the thermistor changes, the resistance of the thermistor changes. The comparators control the charging and discharging time of the capacitor, thereby generating a corresponding pulse width modulation signal to the fan according to the temperature, to adjust the speed of the fan.

Controlling circuit for fan

A digital multimeter includes a single chip processor, a sound chip connected to the single chip processor, a signal amplifying circuit, a speaker connected to the signal amplifying circuit, and a power source for providing electrical energy for the digital multimeter. The single chip processor collects high and low level signals, and converts the signals into codes which the sound chip can recognize, and transmits the codes to the sound chip. The sound chip converts the codes into audio signals and transmits the audio signals to the signal amplifying circuit. The signal amplifying circuit amplifies the audio signals and outputs the amplified audio signals to the speaker. The amplified audio signals reports the measurement values of the digital multimeter.

Digital multimeter

A protection circuit includes a coding chip, a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), and a control circuit. The coding chip receives parallel voltage identification definition (PVID) signals or serial voltage identification definition (SVID) signals from a central processing unit (CPU), and converts the PVID signals or the SVID signals to voltage identification definition (VID) signals. The DAC receives the VID signals from the coding chip, and converts the VID signals to an analog voltage. The control circuit receives the analog voltage from the DAC and a voltage received by the CPU, and compares the analog voltage from the DAC with the voltage received by the CPU. When the voltage received by the CPU is greater than the analog voltage from the DAC, the control circuit disconnects the CPU from a first power supply.

Protection circuit for central processing unit

A socket connector packaging includes a main body and a cover. The main body includes a first sidewall and a pivot positioned on the first sidewall. The cover includes a second sidewall, a coupling portion and a stop portion. The coupling portion and the stop portion are positioned on the second sidewall and opposite to each other. The pivot is placed over the coupling portion, thereby making the cover to be rotatable relative to the main body through the pivot. The stop portion is configured for preventing the cover from further rotating when the pivot contacts with the stop portion.

Socket connector packaging

An electrical connector assembly includes a male connector and a female connector connectable to the male connector. The male connector includes a male insulating housing and a number of first terminals assembled in the male insulating housing. a protrusion extends up from the top surface of the male insulating housing. The protrusion forms an ejecting surface at a rear side of the protrusion. The female connector includes a female insulating housing and a number of second terminals assembled to the female insulating housing for connecting with the first terminals. a fastening hole is defined in the top surface of the female insulating housing to hold the protrusion therein. The ejecting surface of the protrusion of the male connector is substantially arc-shaped or inclined.

Electrical connector assembly

A driver device includes a circuit board, a number of sockets, a number of driver chips, a control switch, and a signal output element. The sockets are positioned on the circuit board. Each driver chip is received in and electrically connected to a corresponding socket. The control switch includes a number of switches. An input of each switch is electrically connected to a corresponding socket. An output of each switch is electrically connected to the computer motherboard through the signal output element.

Driver device for computer motherboard

A socket connector includes a main body, a fastener for locking an electric element on the main body, and a cover. The fastener includes a fixed plate defining a through hole. The fixed plate includes two opposite inner sidewalls. A first slide rail protrudes inward from one inner sidewall, and a second slide rail protrudes inward from the other inner sidewall. The cover includes two blocks. Each of the blocks includes an L-shaped main portion and a stop portion connected to L-shaped main portion. The L-shaped main portion and the stop portion of each block cooperatively define a slide groove. The first rail and the second rail slide into the slide grooves, respectively, and are stopped by the corresponding stop portions, such that the cover is detachably positioned on the fixed plate.

Socket connector

A monitor includes a microprocessor, a switch control unit, and a switch detecting unit receiving a system voltage and sending the system voltage to the microprocessor. When the microprocessor detects the presence of the system voltage, and the microprocessor outputs a first control signal to the switch control unit, to control the monitor to be turned on. When the microprocessor detects the system voltage not being present, and the microprocessor outputs a second control signal to the switch control unit, to control the monitor to be turned off.

Monitor

An electrical connector assembly includes a male connector and a female connector for connectable to the male connector. The male connector includes a male insulating housing and a number of first terminals assembled on the male insulating housing. An anti-mistake insertion bulge extends from the top surface of the male insulating housing. The female connector includes a female insulating housing and a number of second terminals assembled to the female insulating housing for connecting with the first terminals. An anti-mistake insertion gap is defined in the top surface of the female insulating housing. Two cutouts are defined in two opposite sidewalls bounding the anti-mistake insertion gap to hold the anti-mistake insertion bulge.

A connector includes a holder, a transfer device received in the holder, a sensing device set in the transfer device, and a peripheral interface attached to the holder to be connected to a peripheral device. The sensing device senses whether the peripheral device enters the transfer device. When the peripheral device enters the transfer device, the transfer device drives the peripheral device to move to be plugged into the peripheral interface.

Connector

A computer system on/off test apparatus includes a parameter setting and test control circuit, a test indicating circuit, a voltage converting circuit, and an on/off signal switch circuit. The parameter setting and test control circuit includes a micro control unit (MCU) to set a number of test times and control an on/off test of a motherboard. The test indicating circuit is operable to display the number set by the parameter setting and test control circuit, and display a successful number of test times of the on/off test. The voltage converting circuit is operable to convert a first voltage received from a first standby power connector to a second voltage. The on/off signal switch circuit is operable to switch the first and second voltages according the control by the MCU.

Computer system on and off test apparatus

An exemplary power-saving system for a computer includes a sensor connected between a standby power pin and ground, an amplifier, two resistors connected in series between the standby power pin and ground, a comparator, an electronic switch, and an MPU. The amplifier has two amplifier input terminals respectively connected to an output of the sensor and ground, and an amplifier output terminal grounded via an integrator. The comparator has two comparator input terminals respectively connected to the integrator and a node between the two resistors, and a comparator output terminal connected to a first terminal of the electronic switch. A first pin of the MPU is connected to a second terminal of the electronic switch, and connected to the standby power pin via a third resistor. The MPU has second and third pins connected to a system power pin and the BIOS of the computer respectively.

Power-saving system and method for computer

A timer circuit and a timer method are provided for a BIOS of an electronic device. The timer circuit includes a processing module, a setting module, and a display module. The processing module includes a microprocessor unit (MCU), a clock circuit, and a reset circuit. The timer circuit electronically connects with a debug card to measure a running time of a procedure of the BIOS of the electronic device. A timer result of the measurement is displayed on the display module.
