An organic light-emitting device is provided. The organic light-emitting device comprises a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light-emitting layer interposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The device further comprises of a phosphorescent dopant and a phosphorescent host that includes at least two hole transport materials. The mixed phosphorescent host materials increase energy transfer efficiency, thereby improving the efficiency and lifespan of the resulting organic light-emitting device.

Organic light-emitting device

A thin film deposition apparatus is disclosed. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes i) a deposition source configured to discharge a deposition material, ii) a deposition source nozzle unit disposed at a side of the deposition source and comprising a plurality of deposition source nozzles arranged in a first direction and iii) a patterning slit sheet disposed opposite to the deposition source nozzle unit and comprising a plurality of patterning slits arranged in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The patterning slit sheet may include: i) a base sheet, in which a plurality of sub-patterning slits are formed in the second direction and ii) a plurality of patterning bars disposed between adjacent sub-patterning slits to form the patterning slits. Further, the deposition apparatus is configured to perform deposition while the substrate is moved relative to the thin film deposition apparatus in the first direction.

Thin film deposition apparatus

Disclosed is a full color organic electroluminescence display device, comprising a substrate; a first electrode; organic film layers including red, green and blue emission layers and an electron transporting layer; and a second electrode. The thickness of the electron transporting layer, which is preferably formed as a common layer, is different in the red and green emission regions from that in the blue emission region so that the device has an excellent purity of color and improved luminous efficiency of red and green colors.

Organic electroluminescent device

An organic light-emitting device is provided that includes an emission layer containing a phosphorescent dopant and a bipolar phosphorescent host interposed between a first electrode and a second electrode. The bipolar phosphorescent host is a compound represented by formula 1:A&#x2014;C&#x2014;B&#x2003;&#x2003;(1) where A is a hole transport unit, B is an electron transport unit, and C is a bond or a linking group. The bipolar compound can transport both holes and electrons. The organic light-emitting device has high efficiency and a long lifetime.

Emitting compound for organic electroluminescent device and organic electroluminescent device using the same

An organic electroluminescent device includes an emission layer interposed between a first electrode and a second electrode. The emission layer may be composed of a host material and a phosphorescent dopant material. The host material may be composed of a mixture of a hole transport material and an electron transport material. The hole transport material may be a carbazole compound and the electron transport material may include at least a compound selected from spirofluorenes and organic metal complexes. The use of the mixture facilitates the re-combination of holes and electrons in neighboring organic layers, thus decreasing the driving voltage and increasing the luminous efficiency and lifetime of the organic electroluminescent device.

An organic light emitting device including a first electrode, a second electrode, and an emission layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode, the emission layer comprising at least two electron transport materials adapted to serve as a host and a phosphorescent dopant. The use of at least two electron transport materials as a host facilitates the re-combination of holes and electrons in neighboring organic layers, thus improving the luminous efficiency and the lifetime of the organic light emitting device.

Organic electroluminescent display device having superior characteristics at high temperature

An organic electroluminescent display device, which has a superior efficiency and life cycle characteristics and maintains constant color coordinates as compared to an existing organic electroluminescent display device, includes at least one emission layer and a charge transport layer between a first electrode and a second electrodes. The emission layer includes at least two or more dopants of a host material. The two or more dopants include a first phosphorescent dopant and a second phosphorescent dopant. Each of the first phosphorescent dopant and second phosphorescent dopant includes iridium or platinum.
