The optical imaging system satisfies −2.0<L3R2/f<−0.5 and 3.0<f/IMG_HT<4.0, where L3R2 is a radius of curvature of an image-side surface of the third lens, f is a focal length of the optical imaging system, and IMG_HT is half a diagonal length of an imaging plane.

Telescopic optical imaging system

An optical imaging system includes a first lens, a second lens, a third lens, a fourth lens, a fifth lens, a sixth lens, and a seventh lens sequentially disposed in numerical order along an optical axis of the optical imaging system from an object side of the optical imaging system toward an imaging plane of the optical imaging system, wherein the optical imaging system satisfies 0.5<L12345TRavg/L7TR<0.9, where L12345TRavg is an average value of overall outer diameters of the first to fifth lenses, L7TR is an overall outer diameter of the seventh lens, and L12345TRavg and L7TR are expressed in a same unit of measurement.

A camera module includes a lens module including a plurality of lenses having refractive power, a first optical path folding unit disposed on the object side of the lens module and configured to refract or reflect incident light in an optical axis direction of the lens module. Among the lenses constituting the lens module, an effective radius of a lens closest to the first optical path folding unit may have substantially the same size as an effective radius of an exit surface of the first optical path folding unit.
