A system and method for classifying and defining relationships between product information data is provided. The method classifies the product information data to two different data types. Each data type includes a plurality of items. The items of each of the two types are arranged in a product information tree. The items of all the product information trees are associated to construct a new tree for showing the relationships of the product information data.

A computer-implemented method for managing product returns includes: receiving information of a set of returned products, and recording the returned product information into a storage of a computer; generating a returned product order based on the returned product information; determining if any returned products are reusable; determining to scrap the non-reusable products if the returned products are non-reusable; selecting the reusable products from the returned products if there are reusable products in the returned products; determining if there are any qualified products in the reusable products; warehousing the qualified products into a stock of a manufacturer if there are qualified products in the reusable products; generating a reproduction report for the unqualified products according to the returned product order, and storing the reproduction report into the storage of the computer.

A computer-based method for controlling product quality is disclosed. The method includes the steps of: detecting whether a quality of raw materials bought from at least one supplier are acceptable; detecting whether a quality of using materials used at a processing procedure are acceptable; detecting whether a quality of products being manufactured at the processing procedure are acceptable; receiving and storing a post-procedure report obtained by sampling the products after the processing procedure; repeating steps of detecting materials used at a processing procedure, detecting products being manufactured at the processing procedure, detecting the sampling products after the processing procedure, and completing the manufacturing if all the products are finished. A related system is also disclosed.
