A seat belt wireless communication system and method are provided. The system comprises a fastening detection means, provided for each seat of a vehicle, configured to detect whether a seat belt is fastened for each seat, a slave controller configured to wake up, through wireless communication with the vehicle, transmit a slave data signal comprising a buckle state detected by the fastening detection means through wireless communication, and switch to a sleep state after transmitting the slave data signal, a master controller configured to receive and store a slave data signal wirelessly transmitted from each slave controller, and transmit the stored slave data signal to a system controller of the vehicle, and a harvesting circuit unit configured to perform energy harvesting in a process in which the master controller is configured to wirelessly transmit a harvesting signal, and each slave controller is configured to receive the harvesting signal.

Seat belt wireless communication system and method

The present disclosure discloses a wireless sensing system of a seat position and a control method of the sensing system, the system including a slave control unit provided for each seat to detect a seat belt fastening status and a seat occupancy status by a passenger, and a master control unit provided in a vehicle to receive data based on a radio signal of the slave control unit through radio communication with each slave control unit, calculate a position of each slave control unit based on the data received through the radio communication, and discontinue a position checking of a slave control unit when it is determined that the position of the slave control unit calculated for each slave control unit is outside the vehicle.

A system for managing a seat occupancy status by a passenger and a control method of the system includes a seat belt sensor provided for each seat to detect a fastening or unfastening of the seat belt, a pressure detection unit provided for each seat to detect occupancy or non-occupancy of a seat by a passenger and pressure of the seated passenger, a secondary control unit provided for each seat and woken up by radio communication with a vehicle to alert to an unfastened state of the seat belt when the seat belt is unfastened upon determining, by a seat belt sensor, whether the seat belt is fastened, and a primary control unit provided in the vehicle to perform radio communications with each secondary control unit and check an abnormality based on reception or non-reception of the system data transmitted from the secondary control unit.

A system for and a method of wireless communication with a seat belt includes a seat belt sensor provided on a per-seat basis and configured to detect whether or not a seat belt is fastened, a secondary controller provided on a per-seat basis and configured to wake up through wireless communication with a vehicle, to transmit a secondary data signal, including a state of a buckle that is detected by a seat belt sensor, through the wireless communication, and to switch to a sleep state after the secondary data signal is transmitted, and a primary controller provided in the vehicle and configured to receive and store the secondary data signal wirelessly transmitted by each of the secondary controllers and to transmit the stored secondary data signal to a vehicle system controller.
