The present disclosure relates to a heterochiral peptide complex, a self-assembled intermediate thereof, an alignment medium composition used for nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy residual dipolar coupling (NMR-RDC) measurement, which includes the same, and a method for NMR measurement for a biomolecule. Since the heterochiral peptide complex contains a β-sheet peptide and has superior structural stability against environmental factors such as heat, acidity and ionic strength, it is applicable as an alignment medium for measuring RDC for various biomolecules.

The present disclosure relates to a fluorescent supramolecular biosensor, more particularly to a fluorescent supramolecular biosensor which shows change in fluorescence signal through binding to a specific bacterium and a method for preparing the same. The fluorescent supramolecular biosensor is advantageous in that it exhibits remarkably superior affinity and selectivity for a target bacterium. In addition, because a secondary coiled coil stereostructure is highly stabilized as the supramolecular building block is self-assembled to form the fluorescent supramolecular biosensor, the fluorescent supramolecular biosensor can be stored for a long period of time without structural change even at high temperatures.

The present disclosure relates to a polypeptide having multiple directionality and a self-assembled nanostructure containing the same. Since R1 and R3 domains having &#x3b2;-sheet structures are arranged to have antiparallel structures, it provides a more stabilized &#x3b1;-helix structure than the existing polypeptide having single directionality. In addition, since the polypeptide of the present disclosure is prepared as an antiparallel pseudo-cyclic structure without additional structural element such as a linker, the associated synthesis process is simple and the molecular weight is relatively small. Since the polypeptide having multiple directionality having the structural and functional characteristics described above and a self-assembled nanostructure containing the same have excellent stability and transportability, they are applicable in various fields as drugs, for detection of substances in vivo, for targeting for drug delivery, and for inhibiting protein-mediated biomacromolecular interactions.

The present disclosure relates to a self-assembled peptide nanostructure including at least one amphiphilic peptide and a biosensor using the same. The amphiphilic peptide is a hairpin-shaped amphiphilic peptide including a hydrophilic domain having an &#x3b1;-helical structure and a hydrophobic domain. The N-terminal of the hydrophobic domain is a pyrene group. Since the self-assembled peptide nanostructure is derived from an RNA, DNA or amino acid sequence capable of recognizing a specific target substance, it does not recognize other substances but exhibits high selectivity for the target substance. Specifically, since the self-assembled peptide nanostructure has an excimer fluorescence peak at 480 nm through binding with the target substance, it can be usefully used in medical applications such as diagnosis of diseases.

The present invention relates to a bioactive carbon nanotube composite functionalized with a &#x3b2;-sheet polypeptide block copolymer by combination self-assembly, which shows excellent water dispersion, and has biological activity so as to be used as stimulus-responsive and adaptable biomaterials or in the manufacture of CNT-based electronic biosensor devices. In addition, the bioactive carbon nanotube composite can be used as a composition for delivery of a biological active material into cells. Further, the application of the interaction between a &#x3b2;-sheet peptide and a carbon-based hydrophobic material is expected to be useful for designing and developing an inhibitor for diseases caused by the abnormal folding of a protein and by biomacromolecular interactions (protein-protein, protein-DNA, and protein-RNA interactions etc).
