In a method of supplying power for a device wired adapter, a stand-alone USB device is connected to the device wired adapter for operating as a wireless USB device. The stand-alone USB device is set as a USB on-the-go host. The device wired adapter is set as a USB on-the-go device. Power is supplied to the device wired adapter by the stand-alone USB device. A USB on-the-go role of the device wired adapter is swapped with a USB on-the-go role of the stand-alone USB device.

Method of supplying power for a device wired adapter, and wireless universal serial bus communication system

A wireless universal serial bus system (WUSB) includes a device, a first host, and a second host. The first host communicates with the device through a first superframe according to a wireless USB protocol. The first host sets a host-adding bit in the first superframe when the second host transfers a second superframe to the first host according to the wireless USB protocol to enable communication between the second host and the device.

A Universal Serial Bus (USB) device includes an internal circuit and an interface circuit. The interface circuit is configured to interface the internal circuit and an external device for wireless USB (WUSB) communication and USB communication. The interface circuit includes a WUSB module enabling the WUSB communication, an on-the-go (OTG) module enabling the USB communication, and an interface module configured to selectively control the WUSB module and the OTG module to interface the internal circuit and the external device for the WUSB communication and the USB communication.
