A zeolite molded article includes 100 parts by weight of zeolite, 35 parts by weight or more and 70 parts by weight or less of clay, 5 parts by weight or more and 40 parts by weight or less of a silica sol and 0.5 parts by weight or more and 10 parts by weight or less of a water-soluble sodium salt, having an abrasion resistance of 90% or more, an angle of repose of 40° or less, an aerated bulk density on the surface of the zeolite molded article of 0.5 kg/L or more, and a sphericity of the zeolite molded article of 1 or more and 3 or less. The zeolite contains at least one type of zeolite having Si/Alof 10 or more and 100,000 or less and a moisture adsorption amount of 10 (g/100 g) or less at 25° C. under a relative pressure of 0.5.

Highly wear-resistant zeolite molded article, and method for manufacturing same

The present invention provides a composition that includes a silicotitanate that has a sitinakite structure, the composition having higher cesium adsorptivity than conventional compositions. The present invention also provides a production method for the composition that includes a silicotitanate that has a sitinakite structure. The production method does not require the use of hazardous or deleterious materials, can generate a product using a compound that is easily acquired, and can use a general-purpose autoclave. Also provided is a silicotitanate composition that has higher strontium adsorptivity than the present invention. Provided is a silicotitanate composition that contains niobium and a silicotitanate that has a sitinakite structure, the composition having at least two or more diffraction peaks selected from the group consisting of 2&#x3b8;=8.8&#xb0;&#xb1;0.5&#xb0;, 2&#x3b8;=10.0&#xb0;&#xb1;0.5&#xb0;, and 2&#x3b8;=29.6&#xb0;&#xb1;0.5&#xb0;.

Adsorption method for at least one of cesium and strontium employing silicotitanate having sitinakite structure

Provided are: a silver-carrying zeolite molded article in which aggregation of silver is inhibited and which has excellent capability of dispersing silver, when compared to conventional silver-carrying zeolite molded articles; and a method for producing the silver-carrying zeolite molded article. In the silver-carrying zeolite molded article, the molar ratio of Si/Alis 2.0-3.0, the molar ratio of (alkali metal+Ag)/Al is 0.9-1.1, the total amount of SiO, AlO, AgO, and alkali metal oxides is 90 wt % or more, the contained amount of silver ions is 5 wt % or more, and only a single type of zeolite is contained. The molded article can be produced by subjecting a zeolite molded article having zeolite purity of 90% or more to an ion exchange treatment using a silver-containing aqueous solution.

Composition including silicotitanate having sitinakite structure, and production method for same

[Problem] To provide a strontium ion-exchanged clinoptilolite having excellent nitrogen-absorbing properties; and a method for producing the strontium ion-exchanged clinoptilolite. [Solution] Synthetic clinoptilolite having a strontium ion at an ion exchange site thereof is useful as a nitrogen adsorbent. The synthetic clinoptilolite can be produced by bringing a solution containing a strontium ion into contact with synthetic clinoptilolite under ambient pressure to cause ion exchange.

An iron powder for decomposition of organic chlorinated compounds, comprising from 0.03 to 0.5% by weight of Ni and from 0.005 to 5% by weight of carbon, wherein particles having a particle size of less than 53 &#x3bc;m occupies less than 40% by weight, is used. It is particularly preferable that Ni, carbon and iron are partially alloyed. When the iron powder for decomposition is used by mixing with, for example, an Ni-free iron powder, the total Ni content can be reduced without deterioration of decomposition performance to organic chlorinated compounds. The iron powder has high decomposition performance in the treatment of a solid such as soil.
