The present invention provides a display apparatus that provides, to a driver of a vehicle, an image showing vehicle information related to the vehicle by superimposing the image on a foreground of the vehicle, the apparatus including an obtainment unit configured to obtain information related to a driving state of the driver, and a control unit configured to control a display mode of the image based on the information obtained by the obtainment unit.

An image display device includes an acquisition unit that acquires two or more types of information, a detection unit that detects at least one of an acceleration, an orientation, and an angular velocity of the image display device, an image change section that determines a state of the image display device on the basis of a detection result of the detection unit, switches information, which is to be selected from the two or more types of information acquired by the acquisition unit, in accordance with the determined state of the image display device, and generates display data based on the switched information, and a display unit that displays the display data.

Image display device and image display method

A windshield control device is configured such that a position and/or an angle in a height direction of a windshield attached to a front part of a vehicle is optionally adjusted by an actuator. The windshield control device includes receiving means that receives a signal related to a head set having a microphone used by a rider, and control means that drives and controls the windshield. The control means upwardly moves the windshield according to the signal received by the receiving means. The signal is a tone signal input from the microphone or a manipulated signal of an active switch for operating the head set or the receiving means. The windshield is upwardly moved according to magnitude of the tone signal input from the microphone after the receiving means is operated.

Windshield control device

Vibration generators are provided on a vehicle to give vibration to the body of an occupant in response to outside information inputted from the outside of the vehicle, or vehicle information outputted from an in-vehicle system. The vibration generators are installed under the seating faces or inside the back of the occupant seats, or in the side wall surface of a fuel tank. The vibration generators are driven by information on predetermined contents among outside information obtained by two-way radio communication with another vehicle using radio communication equipment. The vibration generator provided in the occupant seats can be operated as speaker means producing deep bass sound in response to an audio signal of an in-vehicle audio unit. The resulting configuration enables information to be transmitted to the occupant of the vehicle by vibration given to his/her body, rather than being transmitted audibly or visually.
