A recording device includes a recording unit configured to perform recording on a medium, a plurality of cables, a substrate having a first surface provided with a plurality of coupling units to which the plurality of cables are respectively coupled and a second surface opposite to the first surface, a facing member configured to face the second surface, and a supporting member configured to define a space between the facing member and the substrate by supporting the substrate, and the plurality of cables extend through the space.

A printing apparatus includes a head unit having a support portion configured to support a plurality of heads capable of discharging a droplet in a discharge direction, and a carriage on which the head unit is removably mounted from upstream in the discharge direction, wherein the carriage has a bottom formed with an opening from which a nozzle surface of the head for discharging the droplet is exposed, the support portion is provided with at least one protruding portion protruding from a bottom surface of the support portion in the discharge direction, and the bottom is provided with an insertion hole through which the at least one protruding portion is inserted, and a biasing member biasing the support portion in an intersecting direction intersecting with the discharge direction in a state where the at least one protruding portion is inserted through the insertion hole.

A liquid ejecting unit includes: a liquid ejecting head configured to eject a liquid; a holding portion holding the liquid ejecting head; a coupling member; and a first fixing member fixing the liquid ejecting head to the holding portion, in which the coupling member is provided with a first coupling portion and a first through-hole, the liquid ejecting head is provided with a second coupling portion that is configured to be coupled to the first coupling portion, and the first fixing member passes through the first through-hole in a state in which the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion are coupled to each other.

A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a fixation member that can be located at a fixation position where a liquid supply coupling portion is coupled to a liquid ejecting head mounted on a carriage and is fixed to the carriage and at a release position where the fixation is released, and a carriage cover provided to the carriage such that the carriage cover is located at a closed position and covers an upper part of the carriage when the liquid ejecting head ejects the liquid. The carriage cover includes a contact portion that comes into contact with the fixation member when the carriage cover is located at a position different from the closed position in a case in which the fixation member is located at the release position.

Liquid ejecting apparatus and method of controlling liquid ejecting apparatus

The printing apparatus includes a supply section that supports a plurality of rolls into which roll-paper strips are wound and supplies the roll-paper strips, a transport section that applies respective transporting forces to the supplied roll-paper strips and transports the roll-paper strips, a printing section that performs printing onto the transported roll-paper strips, and a tension-imparting section that individually imparts respective tensile forces to a plurality of roll-paper strips against the transporting forces.

A roll medium support device includes a shaft member including an insertion part having a rectangular shape in cross section and configured to be inserted through a center hole of a roll medium, a support member having a rectangular first insertion hole through which the insertion part is inserted so that the support member supports the roll medium from a width direction, a rotating member rotatably provided to the support member and having a rectangular second insertion hole through which the insertion part is inserted, a pair of interlocking members extending along long sides of the second insertion hole in the rotating member, and an urging member urging the interlocking members towards each other. A distance between the interlocking members is shorter than a distance between short-side surfaces of the insertion part and longer than a distance between long-side surfaces of the insertion part.

Roll medium support device and recording device

A roll medium feeding apparatus includes a roll medium accommodating unit including a bearing that supports a shaft member of a roll medium, and a drawer member configured to slide relative to the roll medium accommodating unit. First support surfaces configured to support ends of the shaft member are provided to the roll medium accommodating unit so as to extend in a direction in which the drawer member slides from the bearings, and second support surfaces configured to support the ends of the shaft member are provided to the drawer member so as to intersect with the first support surfaces at an obtuse angle relative to a direction in which the shaft member extends.

Roll medium feeding apparatus and recording apparatus

A liquid crystal apparatus includes a liquid crystal display panel including two substrates with liquid crystal interposed therebetween, a conductive layer provided on an outer surface of at least one of the substrates, a flexible board electrically connected to the liquid crystal display panel, and a tape-like conductive member providing an electrical connection between the conductive layer and a grounding wire of the flexible board.
