A vehicle control method of performing automatic braking for automatically braking a vehicle or alarm output, depending on a possibility of a collision between the vehicle and an obstacle, includes: cancelling the automatic braking or the alarm output, when an accelerator operation amount is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold value, during the automatic braking or the alarm output, and cancelling the automatic braking or the alarm output, when a given cancellation condition is satisfied under a situation where the accelerator operation amount of the vehicle is smaller than the predetermined threshold value, during the automatic braking or the alarm output.

Vehicle control method and vehicle control system

A vehicle controller applies a braking force to wheels using a hydraulic braking force generating mechanism and sets a vehicle driving torque, which is generated by an engine, to a second torque which is smaller than a first torque in a normal state, when a switch is switched to an ON state in a state in which a vehicle is traveling and an accelerator is turned on. Then vehicle stops, the vehicle controller implements an EPB mechanical operating state using a mechanical parking brake mechanism. When the switch is switched to an OFF state, the vehicle controller maintains the EPB mechanical operating state until an accelerator pedal operating level reaches '0,' and maintains the vehicle driving torque at the second torque. Then the accelerator pedal operating level reaches '0', the EPB mechanical operating state is released and the vehicle driving torque is returned to the first torque.

Vehicle controller

The disclosure relates to a vehicle control apparatus. The apparatus executes a torque limit control for limiting an output torque of a vehicle to a torque equal to or smaller than a first torque when a torque limit condition is satisfied and a forced braking control for forcibly braking the vehicle when a forced braking condition is satisfied. The apparatus determines whether or not it is estimated that a stop condition that if the output torque is a predetermined torque larger, the forced braking condition is satisfied, is satisfied. The apparatus executes the torque limit control such that the output torque is limited to a torque equal to or smaller than a second torque equal to or larger than the predetermined torque when the torque limit condition and the stop condition are satisfied.

Vehicle control apparatus

A brake/drive force controlling apparatus for a vehicle includes an engine for applying drive forces to driving wheels of the vehicles, a control diff for distributing the drive forces to the left and right driving wheels independently, and an electronic control system brake device for applying brake forces to the left and right driving wheels independently. An ECU is configured so as to be able to control the engine, the control diff, and the electronic control system brake device according to an operating state of the vehicle. When the electronic control system brake device is operated, this ECU stops the operation of the control diff, thereby avoiding a sudden input of load on the drive force distribution mechanism, regardless of the running state of the vehicle. This makes the apparatus simpler and more lightweight.

Brake/drive force controlling apparatus for vehicle

An in-vehicle control device includes a first sensor that acquires obstacle information in a first detection range, a second sensor that acquires obstacle information in a second detection range, the second detection range is nearer to a host vehicle than the first detection range, and a processor configured to perform predetermined control for preventing collision with an obstacle or for reducing damage at collision time based on the obstacle information received from the first sensor and the second sensor and, when the obstacle is not detected by the first sensor and the second sensor after starting the predetermined control based on the obstacle information received from the first sensor, uses positional relation information to determine whether the predetermined control is to be continued wherein the positional relation information indicates a height-direction positional relation between a predetermined part of the obstacle and the first detection range or the second detection range.

In-vehicle control device

A vehicle braking apparatus varies a relationship of a pressure increase characteristic of rear-wheel brake oil pressure with respect to a pressure increase characteristic of front-wheel brake oil pressure according to a determination result of a likelihood of a collision with an obstacle. Preferably, when the likelihood of a collision with an obstacle is lower than a predetermined level, the relationship of the pressure increase characteristic of the rear-wheel brake oil pressure with respect to the pressure increase characteristic of the front-wheel brake oil pressure is caused to be a relationship in which a wheel cylinder pressure of the rear wheel increases not earlier than wheel cylinder pressure of the front wheel.
