A portable electronic device in which microswitches () controlled by operation buttons () are mounted on one side of a printed circuit board (), and circuit elements accommodated in BGA packages (), () and () are soldered on the other side of the printed circuit board. In the portable electronic device, a shield wall () for surrounding the BGA packages (), () and () is mounted on the printed circuit board (), a first protrusion portion () for holding down the shield wall () on the printed circuit board () is protruded from a case () of the portable electronic device (), and second protrusion portion () for holding down surfaces of the BGA packages (); () and () on the printed circuit board () is protruded from the case () of the portable electronic device (). With such a construction, the BGA packages are prevented from being peeled off from the printed circuit board (). Further, even when the push buttons are frequently depressed in playing a game, the soldering parts of the BGA packages mounted on the back side of the operation button can be maintained in good conditions.

Portable electronic apparatus and BGA package protective device

A portable radio apparatus has a radio circuit () provided on a printed circuit board (), a speaker () provided on a rear cover (), and a shield case () provided to cover the radio circuit (). In the shield case (), ventilation holes (A) having a size that does not affect the shielding performance are provided in close proximity of the rear of the speaker ().

A portable telephone to which additional function units, such as a flip unit and a slide unit, that provide additional functions for the main body of a portable telephone, are easily mounted on the case of a basic unit that includes only the essential units required for speech. One or more of an LCD bezel, a flip cover, a keypad bezel, grips, a keypad slide coverand a slide cover, which are additional function units, are mounted on a basic unit. Therefore, this arrangement can cope with a request from a user who desires to alter a portable telephone he or she purchased to obtain a model he or she favors.

A card connector includes a base member and two sets of contact members which are provided on the base member. One ends of the contact members serve as joining portions with respect to a circuit board of a portable telephone. The other ends of the contact members serve as contact portions with respect to a card. The joining portions are respectively disposed at mutually opposite ends of the base member. The contact portions are bent in a chevron shape and have terminations in a card fitting direction.

The light diffusing area serves to diffuse illumination light from a light source to the liquid crystal display panel , and the light absorbing area serves to absorb the extraneous light incident on the liquid crystal driver

Liquid crystal display device

The invention is to provide an antenna holding device, capable of achieving easy assembly and enlarging freedom in the assembling process. An antenna can be held by a screw so as to be mounted onto an antenna holder. The antenna holder is mounted onto a main body case by the outserting mount method. The main body case is provided with a groove, capable of holding an antenna terminal by itself. According to the configuration, freedom in the order of assembling process can be enlarged, and the process can be divided into smaller steps. Furthermore, operativity in assembly can be improved.

A cover plate is attached to a switch portion of a coaxial connector.
