A laminated steel sheet for a both-sided resin-coated container includes a steel sheet, a first polyester resin layer formed on a surface of the steel sheet serving as an inner side of a container after the container is formed, and a second polyester resin layer formed on a surface of the steel sheet serving as an outer side of the container after the container is formed. The first polyester resin layer includes a polyethylene terephthalate content of 95% by weight or more and has a degree of crystallinity in a range of 3% to 25%. The second polyester resin layer includes polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate and has a proportion of polybutylene terephthalate in a range of 40% by weight to 80% by weight.

Laminated steel sheet for both-sided resin-coated container

It is provided a surface-treated steel sheet that can be produced without using hexavalent chromium and has excellent sulfide staining resistance and coating secondary adhesion. It is a surface-treated steel sheet having: a Sn plating layer; a metallic Cr layer disposed on the Sn plating layer; and a Cr oxide layer disposed on the metallic Cr layer, on at least one surface of a steel sheet, and the surface-treated steel sheet has a water contact angle of 50° or less and a total atomic ratio of K, Na, Mg, and Ca adsorbed on the surface to Cr of 5% or less.

Surface-treated steel sheet and method of producing the same

It is provided a surface-treated steel sheet that can be produced without using hexavalent chromium and has excellent film wet adhesion and coating secondary adhesion as well as high film corrosion resistance and coating corrosion resistance. It is a surface-treated steel sheet having: a steel sheet; a metallic Cr layer disposed on at least one surface of the steel sheet; and a Cr oxide layer disposed on the metallic Cr layer, and the surface-treated steel sheet has a water contact angle of 50° or less and a total atomic ratio of K, Na, Mg, and Ca adsorbed on the surface to Cr of 5% or less.

Provided are a steel sheet for battery outer tube cans, which is used for an aftergilding method and is suppressed in the occurrence of scratches, and which enables the achievement of a battery outer tube can that has excellent corrosion resistance and buckling resistance; and a battery outer tube can and a battery, each of which uses this steel sheet for battery outer tube cans. This steel sheet for battery outer tube cans has an Fe—Ni diffusion layer on both surface layers of a steel sheet; the Nb content in the steel sheet is from 0.010% by mass to 0.050% by mass (inclusive); and the adhesion amount of the Fe—Ni diffusion layer per one surface of the steel sheet is from 50 mg/mto 500 mg/m(inclusive) in terms of Ni.

Steel sheet for battery outer tube cans, battery outer tube can and battery

A steel sheet for can making and methods for manufacturing the same. The steel sheet includes, in order from a steel sheet side, an iron-nickel diffusion layer, a metallic chromium layer, and a chromium oxide layer. The iron-nickel diffusion layer has a nickel coating weight of 50 mg/mto 500 mg/mper surface of the steel sheet and a thickness of 0.060 μm to 0.500 μm per surface of the steel sheet. The metallic chromium layer includes a flat-like metallic chromium sublayer and a granular metallic chromium sublayer placed on a surface of the flat-like metallic chromium sublayer. The total chromium coating weight of both sublayers per surface of the steel sheet is 60 mg/mto 200 mg/m. The chromium oxide layer has a chromium coating weight 3 mg/mto 10 mg/mper surface of the steel sheet in terms of metallic chromium.

Steel sheet for can making and method for manufacturing the same

A method of producing a surface-treated steel sheet, comprising: subjecting a steel sheet having a Sn coating or plating layer to an anodic electrolytic treatment in an alkaline aqueous solution to form a Sn oxide layer; and then subjecting the steel sheet to a cathodic electrolytic treatment in an aqueous solution containing zirconium ions to form a layer containing zirconium oxide, wherein the Sn coating or plating layer has a Sn coating weight ofg/mtog/m, the Sn oxide layer has, at a point in time when the Sn oxide layer is formed, a reduction current peak within a potential range of −mV to −mV and an electric quantity of a reduction current in the potential range ofmC/cmtomC/cm, and the layer containing zirconium oxide has a Zr coating weight ofmg/mtomg/m.

Method of producing surface-treated steel sheet and surface-treated steel sheet

A steel sheet for cans which exhibits excellent weldability; and a production method therefor include a steel sheet for cans with the surface of a steel sheet in order from the steel sheet side, a chromium metal layer and a hydrous chromium oxide layer. The deposited amount of the chromium metal layer is 65-200 mg/m. The deposited amount of the hydrous chromium oxide layer in terms of chromium is 3-30 mg/m. The chromium metal layer includes: a base part having a thickness of 7.0 nm or higher; and granular protrusions which are on the base part, have a maximum grain size of 100 nm or lower, and have a number density per unit area of at least 200 per &#x3bc;m.

Steel sheet for cans, and production method therefor

A steel sheet for cans which exhibits excellent weldability; and a production method therefore include the surface of a steel sheet in order from the steel sheet side, a chromium metal layer and a hydrous chromium oxide layer. The deposited amount of the chromium metal layer is 50-200 mg/m. The deposited amount of the hydrous chromium oxide layer in terms of chromium is 3-30 mg/m. The chromium metal layer includes: a base part having a thickness of 7.0 nm or higher; and granular protrusions which are on the base part, have a maximum grain size of 200 nm or lower, and have a number density per unit area of at least 30 per &#x3bc;m.

A resin-coated metal sheet for containers that has excellent content releasability is provided. The resin-coated metal sheet includes a resin layer (A) and a resin layer (B). The resin layer (A) has a multilayer structure and is disposed on a side which, after the metal sheet is formed into a container, becomes the inner side of the container. The resin layer (B) is disposed on a side that becomes the outer side of the container. The resin layer (A) contains polyester as a main component and includes an uppermost resin layer (a1). A Raman band intensity ratio (I/I) on the surface of the resin layer (a1) is 0.6 to 0.9. The resin layer (B) includes polyester (I) composed mainly of polyethylene terephthalate and a polyester (II) composed mainly of polybutylene terephthalate. A Raman band intensity ratio on the surface of the resin layer (B) is 0.8 to 1.0.

Resin-coated metal sheet for container

A laminated metal sheetincludes a filmincluding a laminated resin layer including at least two layers with polyester as a main component formed on one face or both faces of a metal sheet. A polyester resin layer serving as a lower layerin contact with the metal sheetof the laminated resin layer contains 90 mol % or more of terephthalic acid as a polycarboxylic acid component and contains a polyol component containing ethylene glycol and 1,4-butanediol, in which the polyol component contains 30 to 50 mol % of ethylene glycol, 50 to 70 mol % of 1,4-butanediol, and 10 mol % or less of other polyol components. A polyester resin layer serving as an upper layerof the laminated resin layer contains polyester containing terephthalic acid as a polycarboxylic acid component and 1,4-butanediol as a polyol component both of which are 90 mol % or more of the respective components, has a total thickness of 3 to 25 &#x3bc;m, and has a ratio (I011/I100) of peak intensity (I011) observed in the range of 2&#x3b8;=15.5 degrees to 17.0 degrees to peak intensity (I100) observed in the range of 2&#x3b8;=22.5 degrees to 24.0 degrees in X-ray diffraction in the range of 0.2 to 5.0.

Laminated metal sheet for container

A resin-coated metal sheet for can lids includes a metal sheet coated with thermoplastic resin films on both surfaces and formed into a can lid. A thermoplastic resin film A based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is heat-fused on a surface of the metal sheet serving as an exterior surface of the can lid, and a thermoplastic resin film B based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is heat-fused on a surface of the metal sheet serving as an interior surface of the can lid. A composition ratio (wt %) of PBT/PET in the thermoplastic resin film A on the exterior surface is (PBT/PET)=(40/60) to (80/20), and the thermoplastic resin film B on the interior surface includes 95 mol % or more of PET.

A laminated metal sheet for a two-piece can includes: a metal sheet; and first and second polyester resin layers formed on outer and inner face sides of the container, respectively. Laminated metal sheet for two-piece can and two-piece laminated can body

Provided is a resin-coated metal sheet for containers having a resin layer (A) on a side of the metal sheet, the side being a side that will serve as a container inner surface when the metal sheet is formed into a container. The resin layer (A) has a polyester-based multilayer structure. The resin layer (A) contains 85 mol % or more of terephthalic acid. The resin layer (A) includes at least two layers, and an uppermost resin layer (a1), which is to be in contact with contends, contains 0.10 to 2.0 mass % of a wax compound with respect to the uppermost resin layer (a1). The maximum value of the Raman band intensity ratio (I/I) when measured for the cross section of the uppermost resin layer (a1) by using a laser polarization plane parallel to the surface of the resin layer (a1) is in the range of 0.45 or more and 0.80 or less. The uppermost resin layer (a1) has a thickness of 0.5 &#x3bc;m or more and 10 &#x3bc;m or less. The resin layer (A) excluding the uppermost resin layer (a1) has a thickness of 5 &#x3bc;m or more and 20 &#x3bc;m or less.

Resin-coated metal sheet for containers and method for manufacturing the same

Provided is a resin-coated metal sheet for a container having a resin layer (A) having a multi-layer structure containing polyester as a main component on an inner-surface side of the container when the metal sheet is formed into the container. Resin-coated metal sheet for container and method for manufacturing the same

The resin-coated metal sheet for containers includes a resin coating layer (A) having a multilayered structure mainly composed of a polyester resin on at least one surface thereof. The resin coating layer (A) includes a resin layer (a). The resin layer (a) adheres to the metal sheet, contains (i) a polyester resin, (ii) a phenolic resin, (iii) a metal alkoxide compound and/or a metal chelate compound, (iv) an epoxy resin, and (v) at least one selected from the group consisting of polyamine resins, polyamidoamine resins, and polyamide resins, and is mainly composed of the polyester resin. Preferably, a polyester film (a) is disposed on the resin layer (a).
