A monitoring camera includes a camera unit that has a lens, a housing that has an opening facing a light incident surface of the lens and surrounds the camera unit with a gap which is formed between the housing and the camera unit, a light-transmissive cover that is attached to the opening with spaced apart from the lens to seal off the housing, a fan that is disposed in the gap and circulates an air in the gap, a ventilation hole that is bored in the housing and causes the gap to be open to an outside, a water-proof air-permeable film that covers the ventilation hole, a heater that is provided facing the gap and heats the air, and an infrared light irradiation device that is provided facing the gap and emits infrared light to the outside through the cover and radiates heat into the air.

Monitoring camera and condensation suppressing method

A monitoring camera sets ON or OFF of swing correction in accordance with setting information about whether or not the swing correction of an image (that is, captured image) captured by an image sensor is performed, and corrects swing by cutting out a part of the captured image based on a swing detected value of a vibration sensor in a case where the swing correction is set ON. The monitoring camera outputs the captured image while maintaining a state thereof in a case where the swing correction is set OFF.

Monitoring camera and swing correction method

A camera apparatus includes a pan tilt drive device; a pan controller that performs rotation angle control on a pan motor which is provided in the pan tilt drive device; a tilt controller that performs rotation angle control on a tilt motor which is provided in the pan tilt drive device; a mechanical endpoint detection sensor that outputs a mechanical endpoint of a physical rotation direction of the pan tilt drive device; a storage that stores a turning range for each installation posture as a turning range angle from the mechanical endpoint; and a CPU that sends out a start endpoint angle and a terminal endpoint angle of the turning range angle which is read from the storage according to the installation posture to the pan controller and the tilt controller.

The monitoring camera device has: an image capturing unit which captures an image of an object and generates a video image; a mask region storage unit which stores a mask region; a mask execution region setting unit which, when a predetermined number or more mask regions are included in an image capturing range, joins a plurality of mask regions to be selected based on a closeness evaluation value which represents closeness of the mask regions and generates an enlarged mask region, and sets as a mask execution region the plurality of mask regions which includes the enlarged mask region in the image capturing range; and a mask processing unit which performs mask processing on the mask execution region of the video image.
