This liquid medicine administration device includes a liquid medicine container, a gasket for expelling the liquid medicine in the liquid medicine container, a plunger that moves the gasket, a housing, a drive mechanism that advances the plunger, and a rotation restriction unit that restricts rotation of the plunger. The drive mechanism includes a motor and a feed screw. The plunger includes: a threaded portion threadedly engaged with the feed screw; and a plunger body that advances with feed screw rotation and that moves the gasket, while rotation of the plunger relative to the housing is restricted by the rotation restriction unit. The plunger includes a canceling mechanism that cancels transmission of a pressing force from the plunger body to the gasket when the plunger body receives an axial reaction force equal to or greater than a preset pressing force from the gasket during advancement with the feed screw rotation.

A syringe assembly includes a plate-shaped seal member that seals a distal opening of a distal nozzle portion of a syringe; and a tubular cover member. The cover member has a base portion and a mounting portion. The mounting portion has two claw portions, two first column portions arranged on both sides of one of the two claw portions, and two second column portions arranged on both sides of the other of the two claw portions. An outer peripheral portion of the mounting portion has two outer peripheral notch portions. An inner peripheral portion of the mounting portion has two inner peripheral recessed portions.

There are provided an intradermal needle, a packaged article, and an injection device. The intradermal needle includes: a tubular needle that has a needle tip capable of puncturing a living body; a needle hub that holds the tubular needle; a flange part that extends in a flange shape from the needle hub; and a ring projection that extends toward a leading end of the flange part and is formed in a cylindrical shape to surround the tubular needle. The flange part has a cut portion formed by partially cutting to achieve downsizing of the flange part.

Intradermal needle, packaged article, and injection device

In an intradermal needle including a tubular needle that can be punctured into a living body, a packaging article, and an injection device, a pivotable protector is provided to a wide diameter part. The protector has an arm that can pivot around an axle of pivoting, and a lid. The pivoting axle part is provided to the wide diameter part, and the lid is formed to give a width smaller than a diameter of the wide diameter part. The arm keeps the lid in the open position away from the pivoting axle part and closer to an axis of the needle hub.

Intradermal needle, packaging article thereof, and injection device

Provided are an intradermal needle having a protector that is movable from an open position near a needle hub to a closed position where a needle tip is covered, a packaged article, and an injection device. The protector has an arm that is supported in a freely pivotable manner by an axle pin positioned on the base end side of the wide diameter part of the intradermal needle, and a lid supported by the arm. With the axle of pivoting of the protector positioned near the needle hub, the lid may be housed compactly near the needle hub when the protector is in the open position.

A needle assembly is disclosed, which includes a needle protection member and a rotor. The rotor has a rotor body and a restriction portion. When the needle protection member in the initial state is displaced from the protection position to a use position and returns to a protection position, the restriction portion is displaced from the initial position to the lock position by the rotation of the rotor body with respect to the needle protection member. A needle hub has a displacement prevention portion that prevents the needle protection member from being displaced from the protection position to the use position again by contacting the restriction portion at the lock position.

Needle assembly

A needle tube having a needle tip for puncturing skin; a needle hub; and a fluid-draining portion for enabling draining of a medicine. The needle hub includes: a retention part (first member) for retaining the needle tube; an insertion part into which the output portion of a syringe is inserted; and a flange-like skin contact portion that is disposed in a manner so as to cover an area surrounding the needle tube and makes contact with and/or faces the skin when a living body is punctured with the needle tube. The fluid-draining portion is disposed in the skin contact portion of the needle hub and enables a user to drain the medicine that has spilled when removing air and is held in the skin contact portion.

A syringe holder includes: a barrel body that holds a syringe; a holder opening; deformation promoting portions; and radial movement-restricting portions. The radial movement-restricting portions are provided close to the deformation promoting portions. A needle assembly includes: a needle comprising a hollow needle tube, a needle tip at a distal end of the hollow needle tube, and a cutting face disposed adjacent to the needle tip; and a needle hub that includes a tip and a base end, and holds the needle at the needle tip. A syringe for injecting a drug solution into an upper layer of skin includes an injection needle having a needle hole communicating from a needle tip to a needle proximal end, the injection needle having a blade face at the needle tip; and a needle hub having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion, the needle hub holding the injection needle at the distal end portion. The needle hub has a needle tip side end face, and the needle tip protrudes from the needle tip side end face. A protruding needle length of the needle tip from the needle tip side end face is 1.15 mm&#xb1;0.1 mm, and a blade face length of the blade face along an axis of the injection needle is 0.60 mm&#xb1;0.15 mm.

Syringe for injecting drug solution into upper layer of skin

A drug injection syringe includes an injection needle assembly and a syringe body. The injection needle assembly includes an injection needle, a needle hub, an elastic body, and a fitting sleeve. The fitting sleeve accommodates the needle hub and the elastic body and has a fitting hole formed in a female taper shape. The syringe body includes an outer tube and a drug discharge tube formed in a male taper shape. The syringe body is attached to the injection needle assembly by pushing the drug discharge tube into the fitting hole by a press fitting. The elastic body couples the drug discharge tube and the injection needle in a liquid-tight manner by compressively deforming, due to the press fitting, at a protruding portion disposed on a periphery of the pocket and stretching against an inner wall of the fitting hole.

A method of using a medicine injection device including a syringe filled with a medicine; a needle tube having a needle tip for puncturing the skin; a flange-like skin contact portion that is disposed in a manner so as to cover an area surrounding the needle tube and makes contact with and/or faces the skin when the living body is punctured with the needle tube; and an absorption part that is disposed in the skin contact portion of the needle hub. The method includes removing air from the medicine injection device prior to injection of the medicine, whereby medicine spilled from the needle tip is caught in the skin contact portion; the absorption part absorbing the spilled medicine staying in the skin contact portion; positioning the skin contact portion adjacent the skin; puncturing the skin with the needle tip; and injecting medicine from the needle tip into the skin.

A needle assembly includes: a retaining portion; and an elastic member that includes a close contact portion that closely contacts and retains the needle tube such that the needle tube protrudes toward a fitting opening, and a deformation portion that extends from the close contact portion toward the fitting opening and is configured to deform when the drug ejection portion comes into contact with the elastic member, and which is provided in a fitting portion. Further, the length of the deformation portion is in a range of 35% or more and 50% or less with respect to the length of the elastic member, and the length of a portion of the needle tube which protrudes from the close contact portion toward the fitting portion is in a range of 45% or more and 245% or less with respect to the deformation portion.

Needle assembly and drug injection device

This syringe has an outer tube, a gasket, and a pusher. The pusher is provided with: a tubular holding part which covers at least a part of an outer surface of the outer tube and is movable relative to the outer tube in the longitudinal direction thereof; and a pressure part which is connected with the holding part, is inserted into the outer tube, and moves the gasket to the distal side of the outer tube by distally a movement of the holding part relative to the outer tube.
