When an acceptance unit accepts an advance notice, a control unit, controls inflow amount of the air, an air fuel ratio derived from an injection amount of a fuel, and an advance of an ignition timing of an ignition device to temporarily increase a power that can be supplied by a generator. The control unit is determines whether a margin of an opening of a throttle is not less than a predetermined threshold. If the margin of the opening of the throttle is less than the predetermined threshold, the control unit inhibits a temporarily increase of the power. If the margin of the opening of the throttle is not less than the predetermined threshold, the control unit permits the temporarily increase of the power.

Generator driven by engine

A switch can connect or disconnect a generator and a supply unit. A control unit controls an engine in one of a plurality of control states including a power generation state, a first standby state and a second standby state. When an acceptance unit accepts a switching instruction from the first standby state to the second standby state, the control unit controls the switch to disconnect the generator and the supply unit, and reduces the engine speed of the engine from an engine speed in the first standby state to an engine speed in the second standby state.

Engine generator

An engine system comprises a fuel tank, an internal combustion engine, a generator, a recoil starter, a control unit, an injector, a fuel pump, an ignition apparatus, and a detection unit that detects a number-of-rotations of the internal combustion engine. The control unit, in a starting period of the internal combustion engine using the recoil starter, determines whether or not the internal combustion engine can perform self-sustaining rotation based on the number-of-rotations, and if the internal combustion engine cannot perform self-sustaining rotation. Electric power is not supplied to the ignition apparatus, the injector, and the fuel pump when the internal combustion engine cannot perform self-sustaining rotation. The electric power is supplied to them when the internal combustion engine can perform self-sustaining rotation.

Engine system

A fuel injection control apparatus is provided. An injection unit injects fuel in an internal combustion engine. A carbon monoxide concentration sensor is provided in an exhaust path of the internal combustion engine and detects a carbon monoxide concentration in an exhaust gas. A control unit controls the injection unit based on the carbon monoxide concentration detected by the carbon monoxide concentration sensor such that an air fuel ratio in the internal combustion engine becomes close to a target air fuel ratio.

Engine system including electronic fuel injection control apparatus

A system includes a fuel tank, an internal combustion engine, a generator, a recoil starter, a control unit, an injector, a fuel pump, an igniter, and a detection unit that detects the crank angle of the internal combustion engine. The control unit, in a starting period of the internal combustion engine, which is started using the recoil starter, supplies electric power to the igniter, the injector, and the fuel pump such that a power supply period of the igniter will not overlap a power supply period of the injector and the fuel pump, using the crank angle as a reference.

An intake pressure sensor is provided in an intake path of a single cylinder engine and detects an intake pressure. A crank angle sensor detects a crank angle of the single cylinder engine. A sampling unit samples the intake pressure detected by the intake pressure sensor when the crank angle detected by the crank angle sensor becomes a sampling start angle. A calculation unit extracts M intake pressures of relatively small values of N intake pressures sampled by the sampling unit. The calculation unit acquires, as a bottom pressure, an average value of P intake pressures remaining after several intake pressures of relatively large values and several intake pressures of relatively small values of the M intake pressures are excluded.

Technique of detecting intake pressure of fuel

A control section starts cranking of an engine with a first opening degree upon detection of a first operation signal, and, if the engine has reached a predetermined number of rotations through a predetermined number of times of the cranking with the first opening degree, the control section starts running of the engine in a first mode corresponding to the first opening degree. If the engine has not reached the predetermined number of rotations through the predetermined number of times of the cranking with the first opening degree, the control section starts cranking with a second opening degree, and, if the engine has reached the predetermined number of rotations through the predetermined number of times of the cranking with the second opening degree, the control section starts running of the engine in a second mode corresponding to the second opening degree.

Engine control device and cogeneration apparatus employing the engine control device

In a parallel running control apparatus for inverter generator A having first, second and third inverters adapted convert alternating current outputted from windings wound around an alternator into direct/alternating current by driving switching elements, and CPUs to control turning ON/OFF of the switching elements, it is configured so that the generator A runs in parallel with at least one inverter generator B, which is configured to be same as the inverter generator A, to output a three-phase alternating current, and one of the CPU determines that the generator B was stopped when at least one of phase differences between a phase of an output from the first inverter and phases of outputs from the second and third inverters becomes greater than or equal to a predetermined value.

Parallel running control apparatus for inverter generators

In an inverter generator having a winding wound around a generator unit driven by an engine, a converter connected to the winding and adapted to convert an alternating current outputted from the winding to a direct current, an inverter connected to the converter and adapted to invert the direct current outputted from the converter to an alternating current and output it, and a controller adapted to control operations of the converter and the inverter, a battery is connected to the engine, and the winding includes a first winding and a second winding, such that the controller supplies an output of the battery to one of the first winding and the second winding to rotate the generator unit to start the engine.

Inverter generator

In a control apparatus for an inverter generator having a generator unit driven by an engine, a converter connected to the generator unit to convert an alternating current from the generator unit to a direct current, and an inverter connected to the converter to invert the direct current from the converter to an alternating current and output it to an electric load, it is configured to detect an overload condition based on the alternating current from the inverter to the electric load; stop outputting from the inverter to the electric load with the engine being kept operating when the overload condition is detected; output a release command to release a stop condition where the outputting to the electric load is stopped upon manipulation by an operator; and restart the outputting to the electric load by releasing the stop condition when the release command is outputted.

Inverter generator control apparatus

In a cogeneration system having a generator adapted to be connectable to an AC power feed line between a commercial power network and an electrical load, an internal combustion engine for driving the generator such that exhaust heat of the engine is supplied to a thermal load and an actuator that opens and closes a throttle valve of the engine, there are provided a power demand detector that detects power demand of the electrical load, a thermal demand detector that detects thermal demand of the thermal load. The operation of the actuator is controlled in response to the detected power demand so as to increase or decrease the engine, and ignition timing of the engine is controlled in a retard direction in response to the detected thermal demand.

Cogeneration system

Present invention prevents connection terminals for connecting stator windings to external conductive wires from densely concentrating on a bobbin. A multipolar generator includes a stator coreon which salient polesof integral multiples of '3' are provided, and main windingswound around the salient poles. Auxiliary machine windingstoin place of the main windingare wound around at least one of three salient polesprovided at intervals of integral multiples of '3' from the salient polesof both ends of six continuous salient polesaround which the winding start and winding finish of the main windingare wound. The auxiliary windings are arranged each other at intervals of integral multiples of &#x201c;3&#x201d;. When the number of the auxiliary windings is 2 or less, the salient polearound which the other auxiliary winding should be wound, is empty.
