A light emitting apparatus according to the present invention includes: a placement surface that includes an electrode; a light emitter that is placed on the placement surface; and a transparent sealing resin that seals the light emitter, and forms a concave surface that is a light-outgoing surface via which light outgoes. The concave surface faces a surface of the light emitter, from which surface light is emitted. The light emitter and the electrode are connected via a wire that is curved in such a way that a top section of the curved wire substantially coincides with a deepest section of the concave surface.

An electronic heat pump device has an emitter and a collector, stems supporting these components, a spacing retention member for keeping a spacing between the stems constant, and a sealing member for maintaining a vacuum between the stems. The emitter electrode and the collector electrode are disposed so as to be opposed to each other with a space interposed therebetween. There is provided a small-size electronic heat pump device which is low in power consumption and which secures a vacuum gap without use of an additional circuit. The electronic heat pump device includes an emitterand a collector. An electrically and thermally insulative spacer sectionfor keeping a space, i.e. vacuum gap G between an emitter electrodeand a collector electrodeconstant is integrally formed in a semiconductor substrateof the collector, which makes it possible to maintain the vacuum gap to be a specified space while a back flow of heat is prevented in a simple structure with a reduced number of component parts.

An object of the present invention is to provide an optical pickup apparatus which changes characteristics of a light-emitting device or hologram to reduce problems of track servo deviation due to scratches on a surface of an optical disc. By aligning a photoreceptive domain for focusing error signal (PDf) and a photoreceptive domain for tracking error signal (PDt), even in a case where scattering light made by a scratch in the tangent direction of a track of an optical disc reaches the photoreceptive domains, light diffracted in a HA+B domain of a hologram pattern does not enter into photoreceptive portion F or G of the PDt. Therefore, scattering of light which enters the PDf does not influence a tracking error signal (TES), so that the TES does not become abnormally large, and track servo deviation can be prevented.

Optical pickup apparatus

The voltage-controlled variable-passband filter in accordance with the present invention is structured so that conductive patterns, R, L, and C, and other circuit elements are embedded in a ceramic substrate. Within this substrate is also embedded an insulating layer made of the same ceramic material, the capacitance of which changes in response to an electric field applied thereto. On one surface of the insulating layer is provided a control electrode, and on the other surface are provided adjacent to one another a resonator pattern, to which high-frequency signals are applied, and a ground pattern. Accordingly, two capacitors connected in series are formed between the resonator pattern and the ground pattern, and the capacitance of these series capacitors can be adjusted by an integrated circuit mounted on the ceramic substrate, thus reducing size and weight, and simplifying adjustment.

Voltage-controlled variable-passband filter and high-frequency circuit

There is provided an inexpensive light emitting display device which has a simple wiring structure and produces a bright screen display. A photo-transistor is connected in series with a light emitting diode. The photo-transistor is arranged so that light emitted from the light emitting diode enters into the photo-transistor. There is provided an optical guide for guiding a data signal light to the photo-transistor and an optical guide for guiding a scanning signal light to the phototransistor. Further, an optical control section has a laser diode array, a lens array, and a deflection mirror. The above-mentioned arrangement obviates the need of an electric wiring for a data signal and a scanning signal, and is able to turn on the photo-transistor with the emission light from the light emitting diode and makes the photo-transistor self-hold its conductive state.
