Provided is a hot-dip Al&#x2014;Zn&#x2014;Mg&#x2014;Si coated steel sheet having good corrosion resistance in flat parts and edge parts, and also having excellent worked part corrosion resistance. The hot-dip Al&#x2014;Zn&#x2014;Mg&#x2014;Si coated steel sheet includes a base steel sheet and a hot-dip coating on a surface of the base steel sheet. The hot-dip coating includes an interfacial alloy layer present at an interface with the base steel sheet and a main layer present on the interfacial alloy layer, and contains from 25 mass % to 80 mass % of Al, from greater than 0.6 mass % to 15 mass % of Si, and from greater than 0.1 mass % to 25 mass % of Mg. The Mg content and Si content in the hot-dip coating satisfy formula (1):/(&#x2212;0.6)&#x3e;1.7&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)where Mrepresents the Mg content (mass %) and Mrepresents the Si content (mass %).

Hot-dip Al&#x2014;Zn&#x2014;Mg&#x2014;Si coated steel sheet and method of producing same

A coated steel sheet includes a corrosion-resistant coating composed of at least one layer selected from the group consisting of a Ni layer, a Sn layer, an Fe&#x2014;Ni alloy layer, an Fe&#x2014;Sn alloy layer, and an Fe&#x2014;Ni&#x2014;Sn alloy layer disposed on at least one surface of a steel sheet, and an adhesive coating disposed on the corrosion-resistant coating, the adhesive coating containing Zr and further containing at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Co, Fe, Ni, V, Cu, Mn, and Zn, in total, at a ratio by mass of 0.01 to 10 with respect to Zr. The coated steel sheet has excellent humid resin adhesion and corrosion resistance, in which streaky surface defects do not occur.

The resin-coated metal sheet for containers includes a resin coating layer (A) having a multilayered structure mainly composed of a polyester resin on at least one surface thereof. The resin coating layer (A) includes a resin layer (a). The resin layer (a) adheres to the metal sheet, contains (i) a polyester resin, (ii) a phenolic resin, (iii) a metal alkoxide compound and/or a metal chelate compound, (iv) an epoxy resin, and (v) at least one selected from the group consisting of polyamine resins, polyamidoamine resins, and polyamide resins, and is mainly composed of the polyester resin. Preferably, a polyester film (a) is disposed on the resin layer (a).

Resin-coated metal sheet for containers

A manufacturing method for steel sheets for containers produces steel sheets with excellent film adhesion qualities. This steel sheet for containers has, on a steel sheet, a chemical conversion coating with a metal Zr content of 1-100 mg/m, a P content of 0.1-50 mg/m, and an F content of no more than 0.1 mg/m, upon which is formed a phenolic resin layer with a C content of 0.1-50 mg/m. Moreover, the manufacturing method for steel sheets for containers is a method for obtaining the steel sheet for containers wherein the chemical conversion coating is formed on the steel sheet by subjecting the steel sheet to immersion in or electrolytic treatment with a treatment solution containing Zr ions, phosphoric acid ions, and F ions; and subsequently, the steel sheet upon which the chemical conversion coating has been formed is immersed in, or undergoes topical application of, an aqueous solution containing phenolic resin, then dried.

Method of manufacturing a steel sheet for containers

A three-piece can includes a can body obtained by forming a steel sheet such that a roundness of the can is 0.34 mm or less. The steel sheet contains: by mass %, C: 0.020% or more and 0.100% or less; Si: 0.10% or less; Mn: 0.10% or more and 0.80% or less; P: 0.001% or more and 0.100% or less; S: 0.001% or more and 0.020% or less; Al: 0.005% or more and 0.100% or less; and N: 0.0130% or more and 0.0200% or less. The balance is Fe and inevitable impurities. The steel sheet has a yield strength of 440 MPa or more and a total elongation of 12% or more.

Three-piece can and method of manufacturing the same

A steel sheet for containers that has excellent film adhesion qualities, and has; a chemical conversion coating formed by immersing or subjecting to electrolytic treatment a steel sheet in a solution containing Zr ions, F ions, with adhesion amount of 0.1 to 100 mg/mfor metal Zr and no more than 0.1 mg/mfor F; and a hydroxyl acid treatment layer formed on the chemical conversion coating, the layer having a C adhesion amount of 0.05 to 50 mg/m.
