An evaporator includes: a container; a first supplying unit configured to supply a liquid phase refrigerant to an inside of the container; a second supplying unit configured to supply the liquid phase refrigerant along a surface of the container; a heat absorbing unit configured to be disposed on the inside, and in which the liquid phase refrigerant supplied to the inside by the first supplying unit absorbs heat supplied from an outside of the container; a storage part configured to be disposed on the inside, stores the liquid phase refrigerant absorbing the heat in the heat absorbing unit, and stores the liquid phase refrigerant obtained by cooling and condensing a gaseous phase refrigerant evaporated by heat absorption in the heat absorbing unit by using the liquid phase refrigerant supplied along the surface by the second supplying unit; and a discharging unit configured to discharge the liquid phase refrigerant stored.

Evaporator and cooling system

A cooling device includes a device case that is arranged in an enclosure having a midplane, with a case front face facing the midplane. The device case includes a first fan unit for generating a flow of air from a side with the case front face to a side with a case rear face of the device case and a second fan unit, being stored at closer position to the side with the case front face than the first fan unit, for taking in part of air passing through one side in a width direction of the device case and flowing to the first fan unit and sending out the part of the air to the other side in the width direction of the device case. The air flow by the second fan unit can effectively cool circuitries at the rear side of the midplane.

A cooling device includes a heat reception base configured to receive heat transmitted from an electronic component. The cooling device also include a fin base configured to face the heat reception base. The fin base is also configured to form a ventilation path through which air flows between the fin base and the heat reception base. A heat conductor coupled with the heat reception base and the fin base is also included. The cooling device also includes a plurality of radiation fins configured to extend from the fin base to a side opposite to the heat reception base. The fin base includes an air outlet configured to communicate with a gap between the radiation fins adjacent to each other.

Cooling controlling apparatus, electronic apparatus, and cooling controlling method

To cool a blade type server disposed in an air-conditioned room, the following arrangements are made. The first is at least one shell having a ventilation passage disposed in the air-conditioned room. The second is, the following are disposed in a ventilation passage: racks, in which blade type servers each composed of a case with slim boards housed therein are stacked; cooling coils each having a coolant passage and a cooling fin and cooling a passing air; and at least one fan unit having axial-flow fans placed therein and producing air currents in one direction. The third is the fan unit forces a cooling air to flow in one direction in the ventilation passage thereby to cool the servers in the racks. The cooling coils and racks are disposed alternately so that warmed cooling air after passing through the rack is cooled by the cooling coil and then cools the next rack.

Cooling system for information device

The present invention provides a fan that has a fan motor and two signal lines including a number-of-rotations switching control signal line and a rotational state outputting signal line, makes the fan motor rotate at a number of rotations determined by a number-of-rotations switching control signal input via the number-of-rotations switching control signal line, outputs the rotational state of the fan motor via the rotational state outputting signal line, and can provide notification of detail data without increasing the number of signal lines. The fan retains data in the data storage section in a non-volatile manner and outputs the data via the conventionally existing rotational state outputting signal line.

A UPC circuit fault diagnosis system for diagnosing a failure in a UPC circuit controls cell traffic volume on the basis of prescribed information about cell traffic. Failure diagnosis of a UPC circuit is provided by a usage parameter determination of at least one kind of cell, using more than one system and comparing determination results. The diagnosis system has an operating UPC circuit for controlling a total of m kinds of cells, and a standby UPC circuit for controlling a total of n kinds of cells. The system also has a total of q bridge memories for keeping a chronological record of the prescribed information of arriving cells. A fault diagnosis of the bridge memories is provided by comparing the contents of the bridge memories, using more than one system.
