A server includes a communication unit (first acquisition unit) that acquires information about a status of use of an EVSE by a user (first user) who uses the EVSE (power control device) in a normal state. Further, the server includes a processor (controller) that performs, based on the information about the status of use, control for lending the EVSE to a user (second user) different from the foregoing user in a time period in which the foregoing user does not use the EVSE.

Server, system, and management method

A server manages power adjustment resources electrically connected to a power network. The power adjustment resources include power equipment installed in a facility and configured to supply power from a vehicle to the power network and charge power from the power network to the vehicle. When reservation information for using the facility is received from a user, the server predicts a power supply-demand balance in the power network on a reserved date and time of use of the facility. When a DR for adjusting the power supply-demand balance is predicted to be performed on the reserved date and time of use, the server prepares a use plan for the facility so as to include the vehicle participating in the DR using the power equipment. The server gives an incentive to the user when the user accepts the use plan.

A charging system for an electric vehicle disclosed herein may include a charger and a monitoring device. The monitoring device may be configured to output a warning message urging a person to return to a charging area in which the charger is connected to the electric vehicle when detecting the person has left the charging area after the charger started charging the electric vehicle. This charging system may be configured to output the warning message to urge the person to return to the charging area when detecting the person has left the charging area after the charger started charging the electric vehicle. Outputting such a first message may allow the electric vehicle to leave the charging area soon after charging has been completed.

Charging system for electric vehicle

A charging device disclosed herein includes an input port, an output port, and a relay circuit. The input port is electrically connected to an external power source provided externally and that is configured to be able to input direct-current power and alternating-current power from the external power source. The output port is electrically connected to an electrified vehicle and that outputs direct-current power to the electrified vehicle. The relay circuit relays electric power between the input port and the output port. The relay circuit includes a converter circuit that converts alternating-current power into direct-current power when the alternating-current power is input to the input port, and an input bypass circuit that causes direct-current power to bypass the converter circuit when the direct-current power is input to the input port.

Charging device

A management apparatus is configured to adjust an upper limit amount of electric power for charging. The management apparatus may be provided in an electric vehicle or a charging apparatus. The management apparatus may include a dial for adjusting the upper limit amount of electric power, and a user may be able to adjust the upper limit amount of electric power by operating the dial. A user who drives 300 km per week for commute may set the amount of electric power corresponding to 300 km (plus extra travel distance) for the upper limit amount of electric power. The user may connect a battery to the charging apparatus on weekends. When the battery has a capacity to store the amount of electric power corresponding to, for example, 500 km, the management apparatus may stop charging when the battery is charged with the set upper limit amount of electric power.

Management apparatus for battery of electric vehicle

A computer of an auction system presents vehicle body quality information indicating a quality of a vehicle body excluding a battery of an electric vehicle and battery quality information, and receives an electric vehicle bid price, a vehicle body bid price, and a battery bid price. When a total of the vehicle body bid price and the battery bid price exceeds the electric vehicle bid price, the computer determines a battery purchase applicant who presents the battery bid price as a winning bidder of the battery, and a vehicle body purchase applicant who presents the vehicle body bid price as a winning bidder of the vehicle body. When the total is lower than the electric vehicle bid price, the computer determines an electric vehicle purchase applicant who presents the electric vehicle bid price as a winning bidder of the electric vehicle.

The present disclosure provides a vehicle control device including: a fluid circuit, mutually connecting an engine, a vehicle cabin interior heat exchanger for discharging heat into a vehicle cabin interior, and a heat discharging heat exchanger included in a refrigerant cycle in which a refrigerant is compressed and expanded by a compressor, and in which a fluid circulates; and a control unit for controlling the compressor and the engine such that, in a case in which engine warm-up operation ending conditions have not been established and in a case in which predetermined stopping conditions, other than the warm-up operation ending conditions, for stopping engine idling have been established, the compressor is operated while the engine is idling so as to release heat from the refrigerant from the heat discharging heat exchanger and to heat the fluid.

Vehicle control device

A vehicular heat management device includes a first heat source, a second heat source, a heater core, a first heat medium pathway, a second heat medium pathway, a heater core pathway, a switching portion, and a control unit. The first heat source is provided in the first heat medium pathway, and the second heat source is provided in the second heat medium pathway. The heater core is provided in the heater core pathway. The switching portion switches between flowing connection and flowing disconnection. The control unit performs at least one of a switching control and a second heat source control when a temperature of the heat medium of the heater core pathway is at or above a predetermined temperature. In the switching control, the switching portion connects the second heat medium pathway to the heater core pathway. In the second heat source control, the second heat source generates heat.

Vehicular heat management device

A vehicle heat management device that includes: a pump that circulates cooling water around a cooling water circulation path; an air blower that blows air through a radiator toward an exterior heat exchanger of an air-conditioning device of a vehicle; and a de-icing controller that, in a case in which an estimated ice adhesion amount on the exterior heat exchanger is a predetermined value or greater, starts first de-icing control by using a pump to circulate cooling water in a flow path including a second flow path, in the state in which a first flow path and the second flow path are isolated from each other by a first switching section, and using the air blower to blow air through the radiator toward the exterior heat exchanger.

Vehicle heat management device

A control device for a vehicle includes a grille shutter ECU that is connected to a LIN communication line and controls driving of a grille shutter, and an engine ECU that is connected to the LIN communication line so as to be able to establish communication with the grille shutter ECU. In the case of detecting an abnormality in the communication, if a predetermine threshold time or more has elapsed since a start of the vehicle, and if cumulative time that a detection result of a vehicle speed sensor is equal to or more than a predetermined vehicle speed threshold value, is equal to or more than a cumulative threshold value, and a number of starts of the vehicle is equal to or more than a predetermined trip number, the engine ECU determines that the detected abnormality is a failure in the LIN communication.

Control device for vehicle

A grille shutter control device includes a control section and a diagnostic section. The control section is connected to a communication line in a vehicle and controls opening and closing of a grille shutter that introduces air to a cooling target of the vehicle. In a case in which a communications fault is detected, the control section controls to open the grille shutter. The diagnostic section is connected to the communication line and detects a degree of opening of the grille shutter by communicating with the control section. A temperature detection section detects a temperature of the cooling target. In a case in which the communications fault is detected, the diagnostic section diagnoses a malfunction of the grille shutter if a temperature detected by the temperature detection section is higher than a pre-specified threshold.

Grille shutter control device

A vehicular heat management device includes a first heat source, a second heat source, a first heat generator, a second heat generator, a heat generator pathway, a first heat source pathway, a second heat source pathway, and a switching portion. The first heat source and the second heat source heat a heat medium. The first heat generator generates heat according to operation. The second heat generator generates heat according to operation. The first heat generator and the second heat generator are provided in the heat generator pathway. The first heat generator is provided in the first heat generator pathway. The second heat generator is provided in the second heat generator pathway. The switching portion switches between a condition where the heat generator pathway is in flowing communication with the first heat generator pathway and a condition where the heat generator pathway is in flowing communication with the second heat generator pathway.

An engine cooling device for a vehicle of the present invention includes: an engine cooling circuit that circulates a cooling liquid to an engine and a heat exchanger; a reservoir tank that is connected to the engine cooling circuit, and that stores the cooling liquid to absorb pressure changes within the engine cooling circuit; at least one or more cooling liquid circulating circuits that circulates the cooling liquid to devices installed in the vehicle; a switching section that selectively switches between either of a communicating state of communicating the engine cooling circuit and the cooling liquid circulating circuit, and a cut-off state of cutting-off the engine cooling circuit and the cooling liquid circulating circuit; and a control section that, in a case in which an ignition switch is turned off, controls the switching section such that the communicating state is set.
