Provided is a cell packaging material having a high insulating performance and durability. A cell packaging material comprising a layered body provided with at least a substrate layer, a metal layer, an adhesive layer, and a heat-fusible resin layer in the stated order. The adhesive layer has a resin composition that contains an acid-modified polyolefin and an epoxy resin. In probe displacement amount measurements involving the use of a thermal mechanical analyzer, when a probe is placed on the surface of the adhesive layer at an end part of the cell packaging material and the probe is heated from 40&#xb0; C. to 220&#xb0; C., the position of the probe does not drop in relation to the initial value.

A heat-insulating container is used for an instant dried food and is excellent in heat-insulating property, design and economy. The container comprises a paper cup body with a bottom, which has an inner surface coated with a polyolefin resin and is provided with an outward curled portion formed at an upper opening end of the cup body and at least one horizontal rib formed on a side wall of the cup body so as to project outward therefrom; and an inverse-frustoconical paper sleeve provided with an inward curled portion formed at a lower end of the sleeve. The cup body and the sleeve are integrally combined with each other so that an upper end of the sleeve is joined to an outer periphery of the side wall of the cup body, which is adjacent to the outward curled portion of the cup body, and an inner surface of the inward curled portion of the sleeve is joined to an outer periphery of a lower portion of the side wall of the cup body.

Disclosed is a packaging material for forming an armor body for a battery, the armor body being adapted for use in such a manner that a battery body is inserted into the armor body and the peripheral edge of the armor body is then heat sealed for hermetic sealing, the packaging material being a laminate comprising at least a substrate layer, an adhesive layer, a barrier layer, a dry laminate layer, and a sealant layer, characterized in that at least the sealant layer comprises a low-fluidity polypropylene layer having low susceptibility to collapse upon exposure to heat and pressure at the time of heat sealing and a high-fluidity polypropylene layer having high susceptibility to collapse upon exposure to heat and pressure at the time of heat sealing, and the innermost layer is the high-fluidity polypropylene layer. This battery packaging material can impart moisture barrier properties and resistance to contents of the battery.

According to such a structure, it is possible to provide the heat-insulating container, which has a stable heat-insulating property, a high grade design, a high degree of freedom in indication by printing on the outer surface of the container, and a lower production cost.
