The lithium ion secondary battery may comprise a cathode including a cathode active material layer comprising a cathode active material and LiPO, an anode including an anode active material layer comprising an anode active material, and an electrolyte layer being disposed between the cathode and the anode and comprising a liquid electrolyte, wherein a C1s element ratio obtained by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurement of the LiPOis 18.82 at % or less.
