A ball joint includes a ball stud and a socket having a base portion that is annular about an axis extending in an insertion direction, multiple first protruding parts, and second protruding parts positioned between the first protruding parts. The second protruding parts rotatably hold the ball in cooperation with tips of the first protruding parts. The first protruding parts are each provided with an extension part that extends out sideways. An outer surface of the extension part is provided with an engagement part that engages with an edge part of the opening. The first protruding parts and the second protruding parts are each capable of deforming to bend in a radial direction with respect to the axis, and tips of the second protruding parts are positioned more in the insertion direction than edge parts of the extension part on a side of the insertion direction.

Ball joint

A push-lifter for a vehicle drains water entered into an inside through a drainage portion. A lower portion of a case includes a peripheral wall, a bottom wall, and an air vent portion opening at a center of the bottom wall. A cap includes a bottom portion located away from the bottom wall, and forming a first air flow channel communicating with the air vent portion between the bottom portion and the bottom wall; a side portion located away from the peripheral wall by continuing to the bottom portion, and having a cylindrical shape forming a second air flow channel communicating with the first air flow channel between the side portion and the peripheral wall; and a drainage portion located on a lower side in an attachment state of the case relative to a vehicle body side, communicating with the second air flow channel, and opening toward the bottom portion.

Push-lifter for vehicle

This shaft-support structure for a rotary body is provided with a bearing portion disposed to a base panel and a fulcrum shaft that is disposed to a cup holder and is supported by the bearing portion in a rotatable manner. The bearing portion has slits on the side apart from the base panel. A center cover is disposed at a position facing the slits. The cup holder is configured in such a way that, when a load exceeding a predetermined level is exerted in the direction away from the base panel, the fulcrum shaft moves in a direction in which the fulcrum shaft disengages from the bearing portion through the slits and, therewith, by pressing the center cover from the inside and causing the center cover to move in the direction separating from the bearing portion, the fulcrum shaft disengages from the bearing portion.

Shaft-support structure for rotary body

Provided is a table unit enabling easy opening of a table provided to the back surface of a seat backrest. A table unit is provided with: a hinge mechanism that is coaxially fitted to a fulcrum shaft portion of a table main body and that can retain and release the table main body in and from a plurality of attitudes; and a hook unit that retains and releases the table main body at the position of a housed attitude. The hinge mechanism is configured to have a pair of cam bodies that face each other in the axial direction, and, through mutual cooperation of the pair of cam bodies, position the table main body to a use attitude in which the table main body is deployed to a use position and to a partially-housed attitude between the housed attitude and the use attitude as a plurality of stages of attitudes.

In a fastener (), a pin () is pressed into a grommet (), so that a guide portion () formed in an end side of the pin () contacts with a guided portion () of the grommet (), and a leg piece () of a leg portion () of the grommet bends and is expanded. Then, the guided portion () of the leg piece () in the leg portion () of the grommet () is engaged with an upper end edge (A) of the guide portion () of the pin (). Also, the guide portion () of the pin () is a curved surface having a tangent angle (&#x3b8;) changing relative to a shaft line (B) at a contact point (P) with the guided portion () from an outer circumferential portion of an end (A) of the pin () toward an upper end edge (A), and an insertion force (S) into the grommet () of the pin () at each contact point (P) is held approximately constant.

An exterior member mounting unit is used for installing an exterior member to a device, such as a vehicle roof. The mounting unit includes a first part detachably supporting the exterior member so that an upper surface thereof is covered by the exterior member, a second part detachably held by the first part, and a screw for attaching the exterior member to the device while utilizing the second part detachably supported by the first part as a seating plate.
