A lens barrel includes a plurality of lens groups; a driver configured to move at least part of the plurality of lens groups along an optical axis for focusing; a holder configured to hold the plurality of lens groups and the driver; and a mover configured to move the plurality of lens groups and the driver together along the optical axis by moving the holder along the optical axis. The mover moves the holder to at least a first position at which a shooting distance of the lens barrel is changeable within a first range, and a second position at which the shooting distance of the lens barrel is changeable within a second range. The second range is shorter in minimum shooting distance than the first range.

Imaging apparatus capable of detecting and displaying information with respect to an incline thereof

A number of lenses are provided in a lens barrel along the optical axis direction, and two lenses, among the multiple lenses, are structured so that their inclination can be adjusted independently. Tilt adjustments for a lens frame of one lens, which is arranged on the opening side of the lens barrel in the optical axis direction, can be made through an opening of the lens barrel. The other lens frame of the other lens, which is arranged in the middle of the multiple lenses, is structured so that inclination adjustments can be made through throughholes that are provided to penetrate the peripheral surface of the lens barrel in the diameter direction.

The present invention aims to provide an imaging apparatus with blur correction function in which a retention lever to mechanically retain an image sensor requires a minimum moving space and the thickness of a lens barrel can be reduced in optical axis direction. The imaging apparatus includes an image sensor () photoelectrically converting an image of a subject into an electric signal; an optical photographic system () forming the subject image on an imaging plane of the image sensor (); a lens barrel () containing the optical photographic system () and being extendable/retractable in an optical axis direction of the optical photographic system (); a frame member () movably supporting the image sensor () in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis; a blur correction unit () correcting a blur in the image due to hand shake by moving the frame member () in a plane perpendicular to the optical axis; and a retainer unit () retaining the frame member () in one of the optical axis direction and a direction perpendicular to the optical axis.

Imaging apparatus having blur correction mechanism

A lens drive device in at least one lens barrel holding a lens moveably includes a motor to drive the lens; an acceleration detection section to detect an acceleration; and an output control section to control an output of the motor corresponding to the acceleration detected by the acceleration detection section. The output control section determines whether the acceleration detected by the acceleration detection section falls within a predetermined acceleration range or not. When the acceleration is determined to be within the range, a further determination of whether the lens drive device is in a stationary state is performed. When it is determined not being in the stationary state, the motor is driven by a maximum drive voltage. When it is determined being in the stationary state, a further determination of whether the posture is horizontal or not is performed.
