An image forming method is disclosed. The method comprises processes in which a latent image on an electrophotographic photoreceptor is developed employing a developer material, and after transferring the visualized toner image to a recording material, the remaining toner on said photoreceptor is removed employing an elastic body cleaning blade. The electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a surface layer containing a charge transportable polysiloxane hardenable resin, and said developer material comprises a fatty acid metal salt.

Image forming method

An electrophotographic image carrier is disclosed. The image carrier has a photoreceptor made from a photoreceptive layer and a resin layer. The resin layer is made of a siloxane resin having a cross-linked structure, and contains an anti-oxidant.

Disclosed is an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a substrate and provided thereon, a photosensitive layer comprising a charge generation material, a triarylamine charge transport material, and a compound represented by Formula 1: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a secondary or tertiary alkyl group; R.sub.2 represents a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or an alkoxyl group; n represents an integer of 0 to 3, and Ar represents an aryl group.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor containing an intermediate layer provide between a support and a photosensitive layer is disclosed. The intermediate layer contains at least one of an organic metal compound and a silane coupling agent or a product therefrom and its membranaceous index is 0.5 or more and 10 or less. The electrophotographic photoreceptor has low residual potential wherein no image defects such as spotting are caused over a long period of use.

A photoreceptor for electrophotography is disclosed. An electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed. The photoreceptor has an interlayer and a photosensitive layer provided on a conductive support, in which the interlayer comprising: an alkoxy metallic chelate compound of titanium or aluminum having a chelate group of acetoacetic ester or .beta.-diketone; and a silane coupling reagent having an organic functional group, the end of which is methacryloxy or amino group. A method of forming an electrophotographic image is also disclosed.
