Disclosed herein is an energy absorber having excellent impact resistance and excellent impact energy absorbability. The energy absorber includes an olefin-based resin composition obtained by mixing an olefin resin, a polyamide resin, and an elastomer having a reactive group that reacts with the polyamide resin, wherein the olefin-based resin composition has a continuous phase containing the olefin resin and a polyamide resin-based dispersed phase dispersed in the continuous phase, and the polyamide resin-based dispersed phase has a structure in which the elastomer is contained in a matrix phase containing the polyamide resin.

Energy absorber

A vehicular door includes a resin outer panel and a resin inner panel mounted on a vehicular interior side of the resin outer panel, and the resin inner panel includes a resin body member that configures an interior design surface of the vehicular door and a resin reinforcing member that is arranged on a vehicular exterior side and on a peripheral portion of the resin body member.

Vehicular door

A vehicular door includes an inner panel and an outer panel that is mounted on a vehicular exterior side of the inner panel such that they are mounted to and separated from each other by sliding. The outer panel is mounted to the inner panel while the first outer side stopper and the first inner side stopper being fit to each other and the second outer side stopper and the second inner side stopper being fit to each other. In the relative sliding of the inner panel and the outer panel in the lateral direction, the first outer side stopper, the second inner side stopper, the second outer side stopper, and the first inner side stopper are arranged such that the first outer side stopper is not contacted with the second inner side stopper or the second outer side stopper is not contacted with the first inner side stopper.

An impact absorber to be mounted between a vehicular panel and a vehicular interior part covering the vehicular panel from a vehicular interior side includes an opposite wall to be opposite the vehicular panel, outer walls extending from edges of the opposite wall toward a vehicular interior side, and an extended wall extending from the opposite wall toward the vehicular interior side and having a side edge connected to the one outer wall, and the extended wall having a thickness that is increased from a vehicular interior end thereof toward a vehicular exterior end thereof, and the extended wall having a cutout hole that is open toward a vehicular exterior side.

Impact absorber

An impact absorber to be mounted on a vehicular exterior side surface of a vehicular interior part covering a vehicular panel from a vehicular interior side includes an opposite wall to be opposite the vehicular panel, outer walls extending from edges of the opposite wall toward a vehicular interior side, and mounting portions that are to be fit to mount members included on the vehicular exterior side surface of the vehicular interior part, each of the mounting portions including a basal portion being included at a vehicular interior side end of one of the outer walls and in contact with the vehicular exterior side surface of the vehicular interior part, a distal end portion being on a vehicular exterior side than the basal portion and to be secured to one of the mount members, and an intermediate portion connecting the basal portion and the distal end portion.

A vehicular interior part includes an interior part and a trim main body where the interior part is mounted. The interior part includes an interior part main wall portion and a mount projection projecting from a rear surface of the interior part main wall portion. The trim main body includes a main body side wall portion and an extended portion extending from the main body side wall portion toward a middle portion of the trim main body. The extended portion includes an insertion through hole in which the mount projection is and a clearance portion adjacent to the insertion through hole and with which the extended portion is movable toward the middle portion of the trim main body relative to the mount projection that is in the insertion through hole in response that the main body side wall portion receives a load in a vehicular interior-exterior direction.

Vehicular interior part

A vehicular interior component includes a trim board and an interior member. The trim board includes a decorative as a sidewall surface of a compartment of a vehicle and includes a mounting portion including a through hole and a clearance portion adjacent to the thorough hole. The interior member has a longitudinal shape and mounted to the trim body with a longitudinal dimension thereof along a horizontal direction. The interior member includes a mounting projection that projects toward the trim body. The mounting projection is arranged in the through hole and configured such that at least a portion thereof moves from the through hole to the clearance portion in a direction of an external load when the external load is applied to the interior member.

Vehicular interior component

A door trim assembly includes a weather strip and a door trim. The door trim includes a holder plate portion arranged opposite the weather strip, an upper holder portion and a lower holder portion projecting from the holder plate portion toward the weather strip, and a support portion. The lower holder portion has a lower holder basal portion continuing from the holder plate portion, and has a gap distance from the upper holder portion. The lower holder portion and the upper holder portion hold a stopper portion of the weather strip therebetween. The support portion is provided near a portion of the holder plate portion where the lower holder basal portion of the lower holder portion continues, and is elastically deformable so that the lower holder portion is moved downwardly to increase the gap distance according to insertion of the stopper portion into a space formed by the gap distance.

Door trim assembly

A mounting structure between a door trim and a door panel is provided and includes at least a shock absorbing member and movement restricting members. The shock absorbing member includes a cross-shaped rib including four ribs coupled into a cross shape and arranged perpendicular to the door trim, an outer wall portion coupled to a side edge of at least one of the ribs and has a contact edge in contact with the door trim, and a mounting bearing projecting from the contact edge along the door trim and configured to be fixed to the door trim together with the cross-shaped rib and the outer wall portion. The movement restricting members restrict the ribs from moving relative to the door trim at side impact.
