A fastener painting system is a system for painting a head of a fastener. The system includes: a cup for covering the head of the fastener by contacting an edge of the cup with a surface of the object; a supply system; a liquid discharging system; and a moving mechanism. The cup has a cavity for being filled up with paint. The supply system is configured to store the paint and supply the paint into the cavity of the cup. The liquid discharging system is configured to discharge surplus paint in the cavity out of the cup. The moving mechanism is configured to change a position of the cup relative to the object. The cup has a supply port for supplying the paint into the cavity, a vent for discharging air in the cavity out, and a liquid discharging port for discharging the surplus paint out of the cavity.

A sealant discharging nozzle includes a nozzle body, a flat surface, a cutout, and a shaping portion. The flat surface is provided on the nozzle body and is formed on a discharge port side of a through hole that extends along a central axis of the nozzle body. The cutout is formed on a first side with respect to the flat surface. The shaping portion is, with respect to the flat surface, formed on a second side opposite to the first side.

Sealant discharging nozzle and sealant discharging apparatus

A sealant discharging nozzle includes a nozzle body, a flat surface, a nozzle positioning portion, and a locating pin. The flat surface is provided on the nozzle body and is formed on a discharge port side of a through hole that extends along a central axis of the nozzle body. The nozzle positioning portion includes a pair of tapered surfaces disposed on both sides of the flat surface in a width direction of the flat surface. The locating pin is formed between the pair of tapered surfaces.

A sealant discharging nozzle includes a nozzle body, a through hole, a discharge port, and a cutout. The through hole is provided in the nozzle body and extends along a central axis of the nozzle body. The discharge port is an opening of the through hole provided in an end surface of the nozzle body. Compared with a width of the discharge port in a first direction orthogonal to the central axis, a width of the discharge port in a second direction orthogonal to the central axis and the first direction is small. The cutout is formed on a first side in a first direction with respect to the discharge port.

A sealant discharging apparatus includes a sealing gun, a movement controller, and a discharge controller. The sealing gun discharges sealant to an object. The movement controller causes the sealing gun and the object to move relatively. The discharge controller controls a discharge amount of the sealant discharged from the sealing gun. The movement controller controls a movement velocity of the sealing gun based on a volume of post-sealing sealant that has been discharged from the sealing gun and used to seal the object, and an amount of volume change in a sealant pool that has been discharged from the sealing gun and is yet to be used to seal the object.

Sealant discharging apparatus

A sealant discharging apparatus includes a sealing gun, a movement controller, a discharge controller, a measuring instrument, and an air bubble detector. The sealing gun is configured to discharge sealant to an object. The movement controller is configured to cause the sealing gun and the object to move relatively. The discharge controller is configured to control a discharge amount of the sealant discharged from the sealing gun. The measuring instrument is configured to measure a distance to a sealant pool that has been discharged from the sealing gun and yet to be used to seal the object. The air bubble detector is configured detect mixture of an air bubble in the sealant discharged from the sealing gun, on a basis of a result of measurement by the measuring instrument.

A sealant discharging apparatus includes a cartridge, a nozzle member, and a cartridge receiver. The cartridge includes a projection member at a tip end and stores sealant therein. The projection member has a thread groove internally. The nozzle member includes a terminal end insertable in the projection member. The cartridge receiver includes a first tapered member in which the projection member is insertable. The first tapered member has a gradually decreasing inner diameter in a tip end direction in which the projection member is insertable.
