A switch controller can individually control on/off of a plurality of switches based on a voltage difference between the plurality of power storage packs or an SOC difference between the plurality of power storage packs. When calculating the entire capacity of the plurality of power storage packs, a capacity calculator also adds the capacity of power storage pack connected to a switch in an off state in a case where the switch can be controlled to an on state in future.

In a vehicle power supply system mounted on an electric vehicle, a vehicle controller switches a discharge power limit to a motor during travel of the electric vehicle according to degradation information of a battery module to which a plurality of cells are connected, the degradation information being calculated in advance before the travel of the electric vehicle. For example, the vehicle controller switches a limit of a maximum acceleration and/or maximum speed of the electric vehicle as the switching of the discharge power limit.

Vehicle power supply system and vehicle dispatch system

In a power storage system, a three-phase AC wire is connected to a three-phase AC power system. Power storage blocks, each of which includes a power storage module and a power conditioner, are connected in parallel to the three-phase AC wire. A system controller individually controls power storage blocks. The power storage modules each includes: a power storage unit; and a management unit that manages the power storage unit. The power conditioner includes a power converter and a controller. The power converter converts DC power discharged into single-phase AC power and outputs the converted AC power to two lines of the three-phase AC wire, or converts single-phase AC power received from the two lines of the three-phase AC wire into DC power and charges the power storage unit. The controller is connected to the system controller via a communication line and the management unit via a communication line.

The ratio of the time difference (t&#x2212;t) between the first and the second timing to the time difference (t&#x2212;t) between the reference and the first timing is found as a voltage change parameter (R) corresponding to the rate of change of the change speed of the voltage battery. An estimation device considers the change rate determined by the parameter is considered to be unchanged during an electrical current non-passage, and estimates a stable open circuit voltage at an object timing in future after the second timing.

Charging/discharging control system for an electricity storage device includes motor/generator, electricity storage device, AC/DC conversion unit for performing AC/DC conversion processing between the AC power of motor/generator and the DC power of electricity storage device, and control device for controlling the charge and discharge of electricity storage device via AC/DC conversion unit. During charge control, in accordance with the charge state of electricity storage device, control device restricts the magnitude of the DC power that is obtained by converting the generation power generated by the regenerative braking of motor/generator at the deceleration and is supplied to electricity storage device.

A calibrating apparatus includes a first reproducer which reproduces a reference image representing a state in which a plane is overlooked, along an X axis and a Y axis orthogonal to each other. A second reproducer reproduces a scene image outputted from a camera that captures the plane, along a U axis and a V axis orthogonal to each other. An acceptor accepts a designating manipulation of designating a first area of an X-Y coordinate system, in association with a reproducing process of the first reproducer. A first calculator calculates a second area of a U-V coordinate system corresponding to the first area designated by the designating manipulation, by referring to a calibration parameter indicating a corresponding relationship between the X-Y coordinate system and the U-V coordinate system. A definer defines the second area calculated by the first calculator, in association with a reproducing process of the second reproducer.

An image processor includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a camera image captured by a camera provided on a vehicle, a first image converter configured to project the camera image onto a flat surface to convert the camera image into a flat surface projection image, and a second image converter configured to project the camera image onto a curved surface to convert the camera image into a curved surface projection image. The first image converter converts a first image region having a predetermined width within the camera image into the flat surface projection image, and the second image converter converts a second image region outside the first image region in a width direction, within the camera image, into the curved surface projection image.

An object detection apparatus for detecting a specific object in an input image includes a specific object detection module for performing a specific object detecting process of setting the input image or a reduced image of the input image as a target image, and of determining whether or not the specific object exists in a determination region while scanning the determination region in an edge feature image of the target image. The specific object detection module includes a determination module for determining whether the specific object exists in the determination region, based on an edge feature amount of the edge feature image corresponding to the determination region, and a previously determined relationship between an edge feature amount and a weight indicating object likelihood for each predetermined feature pixel in an image having the same size as the determination region.

Object detection apparatus for detecting a specific object in an input image

Photographed images from a front camera and a side camera respectively installed at the front and left side of a vehicle are respectively converted into bird's-eye view images, and a synthetic bird's-eye view image is displayed which is obtained by synthesizing the bird's-eye view images. Based on a difference image between the front and side cameras, a difference region where a solid object is drawn is detected from a common region where the both bird's-eye view images overlap. Then, based on position of each pixel forming the difference region, it is evaluated which of the front and side cameras captures the solid object better, and an image of the common region in the synthetic bird's-eye view image is formed based on the image obtained from one of the cameras.
