The assembly for purification of exhaust gases comprises A space has an exhaust gas inlet communicating with the upstream conduit and an exhaust gas outlet communicating with the downstream conduit. A middle line divides the inlet into first and second areas providing a same passage section to the exhaust gases. The assembly comprises a baffle covering at least 75% of the first area and covering less than 25% of the second area. The baffle and the space are laid out so that a portion of the exhaust gases penetrate through the first area of the inlet flows into the space along flow lines forming a cusp around the baffle.

Assembly for purifying exhaust gases

A motor vehicle exhaust line includes a hot pipe, and a cold pipe for exhaust gases. A mechanical decoupling element connects a downstream end of the hot pipe to an upstream end of the cold pipe. The exhaust line also includes a nitrogen oxide treatment device and an injector intended to reinject a reagent into, or to produce a reagent in the exhaust line upstream of the nitrogen oxide treatment device. The exhaust line includes a mixer intended to mix the exhaust gases and the reagent injected or produced by the injector. The mixer is positioned upstream of the nitrogen oxide treatment device. The nitrogen oxide treatment device is disposed in the cold pipe downstream of the mechanical decoupling element. The injector and the mixer form an assembly connected directly to the mechanical decoupling element.

Motor vehicle exhaust line

An exhaust line has upstream and downstream blocks for processing exhaust gases. An injection section is arranged between an upstream face defined by the upstream block and a downstream face defined by the downstream block and includes a circulation channel for the exhaust gas flow extending from the upstream face to the downstream face. The channel includes a central line having a determined length between the upstream and downstream faces. The injection section includes a reagent injector capable of injecting a reagent into the injection section. The injection section has a first cup inside the circulation channel in the flow path such that the average path of exhaust gas jets is higher by at least 20% in relation to the predetermined length. A second cup is arranged inside the circulation channel between the upstream face and the first cup. The reagent is done between the first cup and the second cup.

Exhaust line with injection system

An exhaust line includes a duct having an injection segment with an inner channel defined by a side wall. The exhaust gas flow includes exhaust gas central streams in a central area of the inner channel and exhaust gas peripheral streams in the vicinity of the side wall. A reagent injector injects a reagent in an injection direction. The duct () is conformed so that the exhaust gas central streams flow substantially parallel to the central line of the inner channel. The exhaust line includes an element that imparts, to at least some peripheral streams, a rotary movement through the inner channel; and about a rotation axis that is slightly inclined relative to the injection direction.

Exhaust line with reagent injector

An exhaust gas system for diesel vehicles has a first exhaust line and a second exhaust line that can be connected at the exhaust end to an engine. The first and second lines with their ends pointing downstream are connected to an SCR catalytic converter and a device with which a reducing agent can be introduced into the exhaust gas at a location situated upstream from the SCR catalytic converter. An injection unit for the reducing agent is provided only on the first exhaust line, and a mixing device is provided upstream from the SCR catalytic converter so that the exhaust lines open into the mixing device, where the exhaust gas stream of the first exhaust line to which the reducing agent has been added becomes mixed with the exhaust gas stream from the second exhaust line that is free of reducing agent.
