The invention relates to a cooling device for an engine () exhaust gas recirculation circuit, notably that of a motor vehicle, said circuit comprising a valve () for controlling the circulation of said gas, said device comprising a heat exchanger (), known as the EGR exchanger, intended to allow an exchange of heat between the exhaust gases passing through said recirculation circuit and a coolant fluid, and means () of cooling said valve. According to the invention, said device comprises a cooling loop (), known as a high-temperature cooling loop and configured so that said valve cooling means () have a first fluid passing through them, and a second cooling loop (), known as a low-temperature cooling loop and configured so that the EGR exchanger () has passing through it a second fluid at a temperature lower than that of the first fluid. The invention also relates to an assembly of an exhaust gas recirculation circuit and of such a cooling device, and to a system for supplying an engine, notably a supercharged diesel engine, with charge gases and comprising an engine air supply circuit and such an assembly.

Cooling device for an engine exhaust gas recirculation circuit

The invention relates to a valve () for regulating a gas flow in an EGR loop of a gas supply circuit of a vehicle engine, including a gas inlet (), a first gas outlet () for directly feeding the gases into the supply circuit, and a second gas outlet () enabling said gases to flow into a pipe () passing through a cooler () before injecting said gases into said supply circuit, said valve () having a rotatable flap () capable of pivoting between a first position in which same blocks the second outlet () while at the same time opening the first outlet (), and a second position in which same blocks the first outlet () while at the same time opening the second outlet (). The main feature of a valve according to the invention is that the flap () includes a main flat body () capable of opening or closing the pipe () and that said pipe () has a flat rim (), whereby the main body () of the flap () bears flatly against said rim () when said flap () is in the second position thereof.

Valve for a gas flow circuit in a vehicle

A fluid flow valve that includes a movable closure member and a body that includes a projecting part that receives the closure member. The body is designed to be attached to a support in such a way that the projecting part is introduced into a housing in the support. In addition, the body is designed to allow the valve to be secured to the support in a direction transverse to a longitudinal direction of extension of the projecting part. The invention is suitable for the recirculation of exhaust gases of motor vehicle engines.
