A protective cover for a head-mounted device may include a cover layer and a ribbed fabric sidewall that together form a recess for receiving the head-mounted device. The cover layer may include a foam layer and a stiffener wrapped in fabric layers and may be configured to cover and protect an external display in the head-mounted device. The ribbed fabric sidewall may include a knit fabric layer and knit ribs on opposing sides of the knit fabric layer. The ribbed fabric sidewall may have a button receiving region and a pull tab region that are modified relative to other regions of the ribbed fabric sidewall by including fewer ribs, unfilled ribs, or ribs of different heights. A pull tab may hide a seam in the ribbed fabric sidewall. The seam may be formed from a filled pocket that provides a plush surface under the pull tab.

Protective covers for electronic devices

Electronic devices such as head-mounted electronic devices may include displays for presenting images to users. To accommodate variations in the interpupillary distances associated with different users, a head-mounted device may have left-eye and right-eye optical modules that move with respect to each other. To hide internal structures from view, the rear of a head-mounted device may be provided with a cover. The cover may have a stretchable layer that is coupled to a frame. Openings in the stretchable layer may be aligned with the optical modules.

Systems of the present disclosure can provide a watch band that provide a marker pattern to a computer-generated reality device. The watch band can include structures or features that provide an identifiable marker pattern to the computer-generated reality device. The structures or features that provide the marker pattern can be invisible or imperceptible to the user. Structures or features of the watch band can include infrared reflective thread, visually obscured markers, or lenticular lens assemblies.
