A device is provided. The device includes: at least one antenna, a plurality of buffer sets, and a circuit. Each buffer set includes a plurality of queue buffers, and each queue buffer is dedicated for a respective application category. The circuit communicates with one or more stations through the at least one antenna. In response to the circuit determining that a plurality of incoming frames or packets are classified into the same application category, the circuit performs an intra-Access Category (intra-AC) scheduling mechanism to determine priorities of data stored in the queue buffers in the same application category according to QoS (quality-of-service) requirements of each station so as to arrange for an MU (multi-user) PPDU (physical-layer protocol data unit) to be transmitted to at least a portion of the stations.

Delay-aware bandwidth scheduling for wireless communication network

A station (STA) for communicating with an Access Point (AP) in a wireless communication system is provided. The STA includes a wireless transceiver and a processor. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from the AP. The processor receives allocation information indicating a first user block for the STA in a first RU of an MU-PPDU from the AP via the wireless transceiver, and the first RU includes multiple user blocks allocated for different STAs. Also, the processor sends Uplink (UL) data or receives Downlink (DL) data in the first user block to or from the AP via the wireless transceiver according to the allocation information.

Apparatuses and methods for flexible Resource Unit (RU) allocation

A wireless communication terminal operating as a Station (STA) is provided. The wireless communication terminal includes a wireless transceiver and a controller. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from an Access Point (AP). The controller receives a trigger frame including a Resource Unit (RU) Allocation subfield which has one bit to indicate support of 320 MHz bandwidth from the AP via the wireless transceiver, determines a combination of RUs to be used in a Trigger-Based Physical layer Protocol Data Unit (TB PPDU) according to the RU Allocation subfield, and sends the TB PPDU for Uplink (UL) data transmission to the AP via the wireless transceiver in response to the trigger frame.

Apparatuses and methods for resource unit (RU) allocation signaling to support trigger-based physical layer protocol data unit (TB PPDU) with multi-RU

A wireless communication terminal including a wireless transceiver and a controller is provided. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from an Access Point (AP). The controller is coupled to the wireless transceiver, and configures the wireless communication terminal to operate as a Station (STA) to associate with the AP in compliance with an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 standard. Also, the controller receives a beacon frame indicating to disable an UL MU operation from the AP via the wireless transceiver, and enables the STA to operate in a contention mode for UL transmission in response to receiving the beacon frame indicating to disable the UL MU operation.

A multi-user downlink orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) configuration method includes: assigning contiguous resource units (RUs) included in a channel to a plurality of stations, respectively; and assigning, by an access point (AP), one modulation and coding scheme (MCS) to each of the plurality of stations. Data rates of modulation and coding schemes that are assigned to first stations and associated with contiguous first RUs assigned to the first stations are monotonic, where the first stations are included in the plurality of stations.

Multi-user downlink orthogonal frequency-division multiple access configuration method

A wireless communication device includes an aggregation circuit, a processing circuit and a transmitter. The aggregation circuit is arranged to execute an aggregation operation to generate a Physical Layer Convergence Procedure (PLCP) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU). The processing circuit is coupled to the aggregation circuit and arranged to generate a first indicator indicating a length of the PPDU and include the first indicator into a first field in a preamble of the PPDU. The transmitter is coupled to the processing circuit and arranged to transmit the PPDU to an access point.
