The present invention provides a sample tube for polymerase chain reaction. The sample tube includes a sample tube body having an annular side wall and a bottom wall connected to annular side wall, wherein the annular side wall and the bottom wall form an accommodating space for accommodating a reaction mixture; and a first extension member extending from the bottom wall to the accommodating space, wherein, to carry out PCR, the reaction mixture immerses the first extension member, such that the light from the light source enters into the reaction mixture via the bottom and the bottom wall of the sample tube and the first extension member sequentially.

An analysis cartridge includes a first cover, a second cover, a plurality of containers, a plurality of fluid tunnels and a rotary valve. The second cover has two opposite surfaces, a plurality of first through holes and a second through hole individually penetrate through the two opposite surfaces, and the first cover is attached to the second cover. The plurality of containers are disposed between the first cover and the second cover, with each of the containers being aligned to and filled in the first through holes. The plurality of the fluid tunnels are disposed on the first cover, and each of which is individually connected with a first pipette. The rotary valve is rotatably disposed between the first cover and the second cover to correspond to the second through hole, and a flow channel disposed on the rotary valve is connected with the containers individually.

The present invention discloses a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) apparatus for real-time detecting of one or more fluorescent signals. According to the apparatus, the PCR is performed by controlling heating and cooling intervals of a reagent container receiving space. With the aid of an added specific probe and fluorescent material, as well as a light source and a spectrometer, a generated fluorescent signal is detected. Meanwhile, the apparatus is also pre-loaded with an algorithm configured to analyze and quantify the fluorescent signal in a real-time manner.

What is disclosed in the present invention is to provide a quantitative transfer pipette structure, wherein an anti-backflow compartment is configured in the first bulb. The dimensions and locations of the first bulb, the second bulb and the third bulb are specifically configured to aspirate and transfer a specific volume of the liquid to a container, mix the liquid with the substance in the container by pressing and releasing the specific bulbs, so as to achieve the effects of precise quantification and sufficient mixing.

The present invention discloses a convective PCR apparatus by using a transparent conductive thin film to replace the traditional metal heater. The PCR reaction is activated when the container with reagents contacted the heated transparent conductive thin film and the temperature inside the container raised to initiate the convective circulation. Also, the present invention could apply for a quantitative PCR reaction by adding a specific probe, a fluorescent dye, a light source, or a photon receiver.

The present invention discloses a method of real-time quantification of a target nucleic acid in a sample by constructing a reference table of copy number vs. designated parameter from reference samples which sharing the same nucleic acid sequences with the target nucleic acid. The method includes (a) constructing a reference table of copy number vs. designated parameter from reference samples; (b) amplifying the target nucleic acid; (c) monitoring and detecting the amplification of the target nucleic acid in real-time; (d) analyzing the detected signals to get the designated parameter of the target nucleic acid; and (e) looking up and interpolating to the reference table to get the copy number of the target nucleic acid.

The present invention disclose a method for detection CPV 2a, 2b, and 2c in a sample by detecting VP2 gene. The signals can be detected by both fluorescent detection system and lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The second object of this present invention is to provide a method to discriminate the wild type from the vaccine type. The first approach to achieve this object is discriminating wild type from vaccine type by SNP 36, which could be used on both fluorescent detection system and lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The second approach to achieve this object is discriminating wild type from vaccine type by SNP 899 and SNP 963.

A mixing device for operating biological, chemical or biochemical materials used in an assay includes a mixing member formed with a plurality of chambers, each having a sealable port provided along an edge of the mixing member. Mixing and transfer device for materials used in biological and biochemical assays

The present invention provides a method of using a two-stage nucleic acid reaction and detection tube. First, a reaction and detection tube is provided. Then a reaction is performed by using a liquid in the storing space of the second tube, following by putting the dipstick into the dipstick fixing space of the connector. The first tube, the second tube and the connector is assembled together, wherein the dipstick is placed both in the dipstick fixing space of the connector and the detection space of the first tube. The reaction and detection tube is rotated from bottom to top, thus making the liquid in the storing space of the second tube flow into the liquid collection space through the diversion unit and then contact the dipstick in the dipstick fixing space. A detection result is then observed from the dipstick.

The present invention discloses a two-stage reaction and detection tube comprises a first tube, a second tube and a connector. The first tube comprises a detection space for placing a dipstick and a detection space for the test result. The second tube comprises a storing space for the PCR or RT-PCR reagents and the target gene segments. The connector comprises a first portion and a second portion which connect to the first tube and the second tube respectively. The connector further comprises a diversion unit, a liquid collection space, and a dipstick fixing space, where the liquid collection space is connected to the dipstick fixing space. The target gene amplification and detection could be directly processed in the same tube without any liquid transfer.
