A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for generating personalized recommendations to address a target problem. A machine learning prediction model directed to a target problem for an individual is built with historical data. After receiving data about the individual, a prediction for the individual is obtained in connection with the target problem by the built model using the received data about the individual. Key predictors (e.g., parameters) and their weight for the individual are generated using the prediction by an explanation model. Record(s) are identified from the historical data by performing similarity analysis of the historical data using the key predictors and their weight. Such records provide a population closely related to the individual with respect to the target problem. These records are then analyzed and recommendations are provided to a user to solve the target problem for the individual based on the analysis of the identified record(s).

Generating personalized recommendations to address a target problem

Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: a gateway stack that includes a master, a backup, and at least one slave amongst nodes of the GS based on an election pursuant to a gateway stack protocol. The gateway stack provides gateway services for a Network Virtualization over Layer 3 (NVO3) network in a fail-safe manner by utilizing all of the nodes in the gateway stack. A data interface between the gateway stack and a switch is aggregated to evenly distribute inbound packets amongst the nodes of the gateway stack.

Photoresponsive polymers that comprise a unit derived from an amide functional diol compound that includes a coumarin group are provided. Advantageously, the photoresponsive groups of the photoresponsive polymers may be used to control the viscosity of the photoresponsive polymer. The photoresponsize polymers may also include units derived from amide functional diol compounds with include a fatty acid chain or a polyethylene glycol chain. The photoresponsive polymers may be used for 3d printing. When an adhesive group is added to a photoresponsive polymer they may be used as an adhesive. Adhesive groups include catechol groups.

Amide compounds are defined and are polymerized to create polyesters and polyurethanes having amide units bearing a pendant functional group, where the nitrogen atom of the amide group is part of the polymer backbone. The pendant functional group of the functionalized amide polymer may be modified or added by post polymerization functionalization of the functionalized amide polymer. The pendant functional group of the functionalized amide polymer may include a protecting group that may be removed after polymerization. The pendant functional groups of the functionalized amide polymers may be used to modulate the physical, chemical and biological properties of the polymers.

Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: providing a distributed virtual gateway for Network Virtualization over Layer 3 (NVO3) network. A gateway stack having three or more nodes is implemented as a distributed virtual gateway, providing Layer 2 or Layer 3 gateway services in a fail-safe manner. Nodes of the gateway stack are configured to autonomously process and forward inbound NVO3 data packets with known destination addresses without engaging a master of the gateway stack.
