The present disclosure provides an edge and bottom water invasion simulation apparatus and method, a storage medium, and a product. A controller controls an inert gas to be injected into a first intermediate container, and stops the injection. The controller controls formation water to be injected into the first intermediate container, and stops the injection. The controller controls the first intermediate container to be communicated with a core holder, and adjusts a pressure of a back pressure valve, so that the formation water enters a core to simulate edge and bottom water invasion. In the present disclosure, by adding the inert gas and the formation water to the intermediate container, an infinite edge and bottom water with sufficient energy at an early stage of a water invasion and a limited edge and bottom water with lower energy at a later stage of the water invasion can be effectively simulated.

The system includes a speech detection module that may utilize various criteria such as frame energy magnitude and duration thresholds to detect speech. The system also includes an automatic speech recognition engine. When the automatic speech recognition engine recognizes a segment of speech, a feature extraction module may be used to subtract a prompt echo spectrum, which corresponds to the currently playing voice prompt, from an echo-dirtied speech spectrum recorded by the system. In order to improve spectrum subtraction, an estimation of the time delay between the echo-dirtied speech and the prompt echo may also be performed.

Signal transition feature based coding for serial link is described herein. According to one embodiment, in response to a data stream transmitted onto a serial communication link, one or more bits of the data stream are encoded according to bit order determined based on a frequency of signal transitions of the data stream. As a result, a sequence of encoded data stream having a lower number of bit transitions with respect to the frequency of signal transitions of the data stream prior to the encoding is generated. Thereafter, the encoded data sequence is transmitted onto the serial communication link. Other methods and apparatuses are also described.

According to one aspect of the invention, a method is provided in which knowledge about tone characteristics of a tonal syllabic language is used to model speech at various levels in a bottom-up speech recognition structure. The various levels in the bottom-up recognition structure include the acoustic level, the phonetic level, the work level, and the sentence level. At the acoustic level, pitch is treated as a continuous acoustic variable and pitch information extracted from the speech signal is included as feature component of feature vectors. At the phonetic level, main vowels having the same phonetic structure but different tones are defined and modeled as different phonemes. At the word level, as set of tone changes rules is used to build transcription for training data and pronunciation lattice for decoding. At sentence level, a set of sentence ending words with light tone are also added to the system vocabulary.
