A manufacturing method of an electronic device includes the following steps. First, a curved substrate is formed. Next, a first conductive layer is formed on a first insulating layer. Then, a second conductive layer is formed on a second insulating layer. Thereafter, the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer are bonded to the curved substrate. The manufacturing method of the electronic device may reduce problems such as peeling and/or offset of the manufactured electronic device.

A communication device including a substrate, a gate drive circuit, and a first tunable unit is provided. The gate drive circuit is disposed on the substrate. The gate drive circuit includes a first thin-film transistor and is configured to output a gate drive signal. The first tunable unit is disposed on the substrate and is electrically connected to the gate drive circuit. The first tunable unit includes a first drive circuit and a first tunable component. The first drive circuit includes a first terminal and a second terminal, and the first terminal of the first drive circuit is configured to receive the gate drive signal. The first tunable component is electrically connected to the second terminal of the first drive circuit.

The disclosure provides an electronic device. The electronic device includes a plurality of units. Each of the units includes an integrated substrate. The integrated substrate includes a first dielectric layer, a first conductive layer, a second dielectric layer, and a second conductive layer. The first dielectric layer has a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The first conductive layer is disposed on the first side. The second dielectric layer has a third side facing the second side and a fourth side opposite to the third side. The second conductive layer is disposed on the fourth side. A loss tangent of at least one of the first dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer is less than or equal to 0.1 and greater than 0. The electronic device of an embodiment of the disclosure may improve product yield.

Electronic device

A display device is provided, which includes a first substrate, a second, a backlight module, a liquid-crystal layer and a patterned electrode. The liquid-crystal layer is doped with a left-handed chiral dopant. The patterned electrode includes a main portion with a cross shape. The patterned electrode is divided by a first center line of the main portion into a first sub-portion and a second sub-portion. The first sub-portion and the second sub-portion are adjacent and are connected to the main portion. Each of the first sub-portion and the second sub-portion includes a plurality of branch portions. A first included angle is between one of the branch portions of the second sub-portion and the first center line. A second included angle is between one of the branch portions of the first sub-portion and the first center line. The first included angle and the second included angle are not equal.

Display device

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a panel and a polarizing element. The polarizing element is disposed at one side of the panel, and the polarizing element includes a plurality of coating polarizing layers. A method for manufacturing an electronic device is further provided.

Provided is an electronic device including a first liquid crystal layer having a first side and a second side opposite thereto; a second liquid crystal layer disposed on the first liquid crystal layer and having a third side and a fourth side opposite thereto; a first alignment layer disposed on the first side and having a first alignment direction; a second alignment layer disposed on the second side and having a second alignment direction opposite to the first alignment direction; a third alignment layer disposed on the third side and having a third alignment direction; and a fourth alignment layer disposed on the fourth side and having a fourth alignment direction opposite to the third alignment direction. The second alignment layer is between the first liquid crystal layer and the third alignment layer. The third alignment layer is between the second liquid crystal layer and the second alignment layer.

A display device is provided. The display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a patterned electrode, a switch unit, and a liquid-crystal layer doped with a chiral dopant. The second substrate is disposed corresponding to the first substrate, and the patterned electrode is disposed on the first substrate or the second substrate. The switch unit is disposed adjacent to the patterned electrode. The liquid-crystal layer doped with the chiral dopant is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. In addition, an edge of the patterned electrode that is closest to the switch unit has an open area and a closed area, wherein the open area is adjacent to the closed area, and the patterned electrode extends a connecting portion out from the closed area and the connecting portion is connected to the switch unit.

An electronic device includes a panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid-crystal layer including a left-handed chiral dopant, a first polarizing plate, a second polarizing plate and a patterned electrode. The first polarizing plate has a first absorption axis perpendicular to a second absorption axis of the second polarizing plate. The patterned electrode has a sub-portion that includes a plurality of branch portions. A first included angle is between one of the branch portions and the first absorption axis. A second included angle is between one of the branch portions and the second absorption axis. While the patterned electrode is disposed between the first substrate and the liquid-crystal layer, the first included angle is greater than the second included angle. While the patterned electrode is disposed between the second substrate and the liquid-crystal layer, the first included angle is smaller than the second included angle.

Display panel and display device including the same

A display panel and a display device including the same are disclosed. The display panel includes: a substrate; plural scan lines disposed on the substrate, wherein the plural scan lines extend along a first direction; and a common electrode disposed on the substrate, wherein the common electrode includes a through hole having a curved edge, wherein the through hole overlaps at least a portion of one of the plural scan lines along a direction perpendicular to a surface of the substrate.

A display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a display medium layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a first metal layer, a first insulation layer disposed on the first metal layer, a second metal layer, a second insulation layer disposed on the second metal layer, a pixel electrode layer and an intervening layer. The first metal layer is disposed on the first substrate to form a signal wiring and a gate. The second metal layer is disposed on the first insulation layer to form a data wiring, a source and a drain. The intervening layer is a patterned layer and disposed between the second insulation layer and the pixel electrode layer. The pixel electrode layer covers the intervening layer and the second insulation layer, and the perimeter of the intervening layer of a sub-pixel ranges between 500 &#x3bc;m and 30000 &#x3bc;m.

A display panel is disclosed, which includes: a substrate; plural scan lines disposed on the substrate and extending along a first direction; a first insulating layer disposed on the scan lines; plural data lines disposed on the first insulating layer and extending along a second direction; a second insulating layer disposed on the data lines; and a common electrode disposed on the second insulating layer and including a through hole; wherein, the through hole includes a first region and a second region, the first region has a first maximum width along the first direction, the second region has a second maximum width along the first direction, and a ratio of the second maximum width over the first maximum width is greater than 0 and less than 1.

The disclosure provides a display device. The pixel electrode of the display device includes a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode having the same electric potential. The first interlayer is formed between the first substrate and the first pixel electrode. Adjacent two of the first strip-shaped branches of the first interlayer form a first gap to expose part of the first substrate. The common electrode layer is disposed over the second substrate. The pixel electrode is positioned between the first substrate and the display medium layer. The first pixel electrode extends to cover the first gap. A difference between a maximum distance between the first pixel electrode and the common electrode layer and a maximum distance between the second pixel electrode and the common electrode layer is 0.1 &#x3bc;m to 0.4 &#x3bc;m.

A liquid-crystal display includes a first substrate including several sub-pixels. A micro-structure layer is formed on the first substrate, and the micro-structure layer corresponding to one of the sub-pixels includes a first main trunk portion, a second main trunk portion crossed the first main trunk portion, and several striped branch portions. The striped branch portions are connected with the first and second main trunk portions, wherein an angle is formed between the striped branch portions and the first main trunk portion, and the striped branch portions are alternately arranged with a pitch. A first electrode layer is conformally formed on the micro-structure layer. Specifically, the pitch in one of the sub-pixels is different from the pitch in another one of the sub-pixels, or the angle in one of the sub-pixels is different from the angle in another one of the sub-pixels.

Liquid-crystal display

A liquid crystal display device comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a first polarizer, a second polarizer and a first electrode layer. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first and the second substrates, and comprises a liquid crystal mixture comprising a chiral dopant. The first and the second polarizers are disposed on the first and the second substrates, respectively. The first polarizer has a first absorption axis. The first electrode layer is disposed on one of the first and second substrates, and has a first trunk, a second trunk and a plurality of branches. The first and the second trunks intersect to form at least a first area. A first angle &#x3b8;j is formed between the branches and the first trunk, and a second angle &#x3b8;p is formed between the first absorption axis and the first trunk.
