A wireless communication method used in a wireless communication device, wherein the wireless communication method includes the steps of: establishing a link with a first access point, and obtaining a backhaul SSID of a self-organizing network including the first access point from the first access point; referring to the backhaul SSID to obtain first access point information of the first access point and second access point information of a second access point within the self-organizing network, wherein each of the first access point information and the second access point information includes a BSSID; and selecting one of the first access point and the second access point to perform a wireless network connection according to the first access point information and the second access point information.

A configuration synchronization method includes a first extender network device transmitting an extender configuration version to a root network device; the root network device determining whether the extender configuration version is the same as a second root configuration version currently owned by the root network device; and when the extender configuration version is different from the second root configuration version, the root network device transmitting the second root configuration version and a plurality of root network configurations corresponding to the second root configuration version to the first extender network device; a first extender network device updating a plurality of extender network configurations thereof to be the plurality of root network configurations, and updating the extender configuration version thereof to be the second root configuration version.

Configuration synchronization method and mesh network system

A method for generating a prompt message for network connection conversion and a network system thereof are provided. The system can be a LAN with multiple access points (APs). The method is operated in a root AP. The root AP receives a connection conversion command from a user device, in which a target AP is designated. The root AP determines at least one AP that is available to be connected with the target AP based on an instant wireless signal strength there-between. After that, the target AP obtains at least one connection rates from the target AP to the root AP via the at least one available APs. The root AP generates a prompt message for connection conversion according to the connection rates. A topology map displayed on the user device can be used to indicate the available APs for the connection conversion.

A group host selection method for a device-to-device network and a control platform for selecting a group host are provided. The device-to-device network includes a user device and a gateway device, the group host selection method includes the steps of: calculating a signal reception capability corresponding to a transmission path from the gateway device to the user device; calculating a first computation capability of the gateway device; calculating a second computation capability of the user device; and selecting one of the user device and the gateway device to be a group host according to the signal reception capability and the first computation capability of the gateway device and the second computation capability of the user device.
