Techniques and architecture are described for reusing QoS policy instances for groups of software defined wide area network (SDWAN)-based transport locators (TLOCs) sharing the same attributes. For example, the attributes may include subscriber transport bandwidth (e.g., a transport bandwidth based on a user profile), QoS policy template profile information, transport locator color, etc. All of this information may be shared across the SDWAN fabric and may be available in the overlay management protocol (OMP) TLOC database.

Policy instance reuse in control planes of networks

In one embodiment, a method includes determining, by a router, a common prefix pool from a transport interface associated with a transport virtual private network (VPN). The method also includes identifying, by the router, a prefix associated with a service VPN and generating, by the router, an IPv6-to-IPv6 Network Address Translation (NAT66) prefix translation using the common prefix pool and the prefix. The NAT66 prefix translation includes a predetermined prefix length. The method further includes automatically installing, by the router, the NAT66 prefix translation into a translation table.

Systems and methods for translating IPV6 packets for DIA in an SD-WAN environment

The present disclosure provides methods and network function nodes for managing a communication of contents for a first UE. The method includes retrieving subscription data for the first UE from a third NF node, the subscription data indicating an identifier of a second UE which is a target of the contents for the first UE, transmitting the contents and the identifier of the second UE to a second NF node, receiving a message built with the contents from the second NF node, and transmitting the message to the second UE. The present disclosure further provides corresponding computer readable medium.

Methods, network function nodes and computer readable media for contents communication management

According to certain embodiments, a system comprises one or more processors and one or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media comprising instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause one or more components of the system to perform operations. The operations comprise sending data from a hub to a spoke and receiving feedback from the spoke at the hub. The feedback is based on at least one of bandwidth utilization or occurrence of a congestion state detected by the spoke. The operations further comprise adjusting a shaper rate of an adaptive Quality of Service (QoS) shaper based at least in part on the feedback received from the spoke.

Physical Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) resource scheduling system and method between virtual machines are provided. An agent is inserted between a physical GPU instruction dispatch and a physical GPU interface through a hooking method, for delaying sending instructions and data in the physical GPU instruction dispatch to the physical GPU interface, monitoring a set of GPU conditions of a guest application executing in the virtual machine and a use condition of physical GPU hardware resources, and then providing a feedback to a GPU resource scheduling algorithm based on time or a time sequence. With the agent, it is unneeded for the method to make any modification to the guest application of the virtual machine, a host operating system, a virtual machine operating system, a GPU driver and a virtual machine manager.

A method enabling symmetric routing between a first host within a first AS and a second host within a second AS is disclosed. The method includes detecting that a first routing message was received at an edge router of the first AS from an edge router of the second AS. The first message identifies the second host as a source and the first host as a destination of a forward route. The method further includes determining that the first message further comprises an indication to implement symmetric routing between the first and second hosts and generating a second routing message for propagating to router(s) within the first AS. The second message identifies the first host as a source and the second host as a destination of a return route, and indicates that data is to be sent via the edge router of the first AS that received the first message.

In one implementation, the number of half open session initiation protocol (SIP) sessions per-destination (e.g., SIP device) or globally is limited by SIP application layer gateway (ALG) as a SIP DoS/DDoS countermeasure. Compared with traditional SIP DoS/DDoS countermeasures, the proposed solution is simple to implement and, thus, less likely to degrade SIP ALG performance. Moreover, this solution automatically adapts to DoS/DDoS attack arrival rate, while at the same time not degrading legal SIP traffic even if throttling is enforced for the SIP device.
