A method is proposed for designing compact stripline and air-cavity based (SACB) RF filters, duplexers, and multiplexers. The target frequency band is 600 MHz&#x2dc;3 GHz. The proposed devices feature both compact size (with 50% size reduction compared to traditional resonator air cavity design) and high power handling capability as well as low insertion-loss. In the SACB filter, striplines and cavities are used to emulate LC resonator (quasi-LC resonator). The combination of striplines and cavities forms a structure that exhibit the performance of an electric resonator circuit of inductor and capacitor (LC). The outside signal will be connected to the striplines, and the ground will be connected to the metal shield which forms the cavity. By controlling the dimensions of the stripline width and length as well as the size of the cavity, the desired filter response is achieved.

Compact stripline and air-cavity based radio frequency filter

A voltage generator includes a first transistor, a second transistor, an operational amplifier, a capacitor, a third transistor, a fourth transistor and a first resistor. The operational amplifier includes a first terminal coupled to a second terminal of the first transistor, and a second terminal coupled to a second terminal of the second transistor. The capacitor is coupled between an output terminal of the operational amplifier and a ground terminal. The third transistor is coupled to the first transistor and the output terminal of the operational amplifier. The fourth transistor is coupled to the second transistor, the output terminal of the operational amplifier and the ground terminal. The first resistor is utilized for generating a complementary to absolute temperature voltage according to a voltage difference between a gate-source voltage of the third transistor and a gate-source voltage of the fourth transistor.

Voltage generator and bandgap reference circuit

A method, system, and apparatus of a balanced rotator conversion of serialized data are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method to convert serialized data includes acquiring a rotator module output, and generating a balancing signal with a reference module, which operates with a reference frequency. The method further includes processing the rotator module output and the balancing signal in an interpolation module to generate a balanced rotator output. The method may include a rotator module output that is generated by an analog phase rotator when a control voltage is received by the analog phase rotator. The reference module may include an other analog phase rotator to generate a balancing signal. The interpolation module may interpolate the balancing signal and the rotator module output to modulate a phase of the balanced rotator output. The balanced rotator output may include an orthogonal output.

Balanced rotator conversion of serialized data

Systems and methods regarding the restoration of serialized data to parallel data with a low speed reference signal are provided. In exemplary embodiments, a phased lock loop receives a reference clock signal from a data source and generates a reference high speed clock signal based on the reference clock signal. A dynamic link library clock and data recovery module reads and writes data flows contained within serialized data onto parallel data paths at a modified high speed clock signal based on the reference high speed clock signal.
