A silicone composite for high temperature insulation applications is disclosed. The composite is formed of a silicone and a thermally decomposable inorganic filler which are compounded together. The compounded material is then injection molded, overmolded, compression molded, cast, laminated, extruded, or dispensed. When the silicone composite is exposed to a high temperature, it forms an inorganic composite and maintains its insulating properties and dimensional stability.

A method of producing a solderable aluminum contact comprises formulating an ink, applying the ink to an aluminum substrate to form an ink layer on a surface of the aluminum substrate, and melting the ink layer. The ink includes a solderable element that is conductive. The melting of the ink layer forms an alloy on the surface of the aluminum substrate including the solderable element.

A lighting device includes a base, a transparent cover, an electronic circuit mounted to the base, and an antenna. An electronic device includes a substrate, a gate electrode, a dielectric layer, a source electrode, a drain electrode, and a semiconducting layer formed from an organic semiconductor compound and a photo-responsive polymer. The resistance can be switched to a 'low' state by irradiation, and can be switched to a 'high' state by applying a gate bias voltage. This can be useful for a memory device.

A silver paste ink composition comprises a plurality of first particles comprising silver; a polymer binder; a carrier solvent; and a plurality of second particles comprising silver. The second particles are nanoparticles that are different than the first silver particles, the amount of second particles in the ink composition being sufficient to impart a first color to the uncured ink composition, the first color being different than the color of the same ink composition without the nanoparticles. The silver nanoparticles have a property of causing a change in the color of the ink composition when the ink composition is cured.

A conductive composition that comprises a branched metal carboxylate and one or more solvents. The solvents may be an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent. In embodiments, the branched metal carboxylate is a silver carboxylate.
