A reciprocating mechanism for a spinning reel includes a first gear, a second gear, a slider, and an annular elastic body. The first gear is configured to rotate in accordance with rotation of a handle shaft. The second gear includes a gear body configured to mesh with the first gear and a boss protruding from the gear body. The slider has an engagement groove where the boss engages. The slider is configured to move a spool shaft in a front-rear direction as the boss moves along the engagement groove. The annular elastic body is attached to the boss so as to contact an open end of the engagement groove.

Reciprocating mechanism for spinning reel and spinning reel having the same

A handle assembly of a spinning reel is configured to be integrally rotatable with a drive shaft of the spinning reel. The handle assembly includes a shaft member, a handle arm, a tubular member, and an annular elastic member. The shaft member is configured to be integrally rotatable with the drive shaft. The handle arm is coupled to the shaft member. The tubular member is disposed between the drive shaft and the handle arm on the outer periphery of the shaft member in order to position the handle arm with respect to the drive shaft. The annular elastic member is disposed between the shaft member and the tubular member in order to regulate the tubular member from falling off the shaft member.

A torque limiting device includes a first rotating member, a second rotating member, an engagement member, and a biasing member. The biasing member biases the engagement member from a first rotating member toward a second rotating member. The biasing member biases the engagement member in a direction inclined relative to a radial direction of the first rotating member.

Torque limiting device for fishing reel and spinning reel

A spinning reel configured such that when a rotor rotates in a line-winding direction, the attitude of a bail arm is switched from a line-releasing attitude to a line-winding attitude. The spinning reel includes a reel body and a bail reversing mechanism. The bail reversing mechanism includes an engagement member and a switching member. The reel body has an accommodation recess for accommodating at least a portion of the switching member. The engagement member engages the bail arm. The switching member is disposed on the reel body. The switching member switches the attitude of the bail arm via the engagement member by contact with the engagement member.

Spinning reel

A switch member of a bail flip mechanism is fixed to a reel unit, and makes contact with a moving member located in a second position and moves the moving member toward a first position across a position corresponding to a dead center when a rotor is rotated in a winding direction. The switch member has a first and second slopes. The first slope forwardly slants at a first slant angle from a first end toward a position corresponding to a pivot position of a bail arm located across the dead center, along the winding direction of the rotor so as to be contactable to the moving member located in the second position. The second slope continues to the first slope and forwardly slants toward a second end located on the opposite side of the first end at a second slant angle larger than the first slant angle.

A spinning reel master gear assembly is rotatably attachable to a reel unit of a spinning reel. The spinning reel master gear assemble includes a master gear shaft being rotatably attachable to the reel unit, and a master gear fixed to the master gear shaft in an integrally rotatable state. The master gear shaft includes an attachment portion. The attachment portion has a male threaded portion at least partially on an outer peripheral surface thereof. The master gear includes a female threaded portion screwed onto the male threaded portion, and a centered portion including an axis appropriately aligned by the attachment portion.

Master gear assembly

A handle assembly includes a handle shaft portion, a handle arm, a handle grip, and a tubular member. The handle shaft portion is mounted to the inner peripheral portion of a master gear shaft so as not to be allowed to rotate relative to the master gear shaft, and is disposed so that the tip end portion of the master gear shaft protrudes outward in the axial direction compared to the tip end portion of the master gear. The handle arm extends in the radial direction from the tip end portion of the handle shaft portion, and is mounted to the handle shaft portion so as to be capable of pivoting with respect to the handle shaft portion. The handle grip is mounted to the tip of the handle arm. The tubular member is non-rotatably engaged with the tip end portion of the master gear shaft and the base end portion of the handle arm.
