Method for adhesion of wound electrodes or electrode lamination for use in a lithium-ion secondary battery

The present invention discloses a method for preparing a lithium battery with self-adhesive polymer electrolyte. The characteristic of the method is to pour a polyacrylonitrile-based solution into a battery with electrode plates and separators. An organic solvent is then poured into the battery, during which time the polyacrylonitrile-based solution is phase-separated, resulting in the adhesion of the electrode plates and separators.

Method for fabricating a lithium battery with self-adhesive polymer electrolyte

This specification discloses a rechargeable battery structure and the method of making the same. The battery comprises a stacked structure suitable for rectangular batteries by an S-shape sequential folding so as to increase the energy density and the charge/discharge cycle of the battery while lowering the safety worry about filling too much electrolyte. The feature of a stacked battery structure is that no active material of the positive and negative electrodes is coated at folded corners. The folded corner is also glued to make a thinner battery cell after squeezing under pressure. This folded cell is further under the application of heat and pressure and put into a rectangular battery case made of metal or aluminum foil. A new battery structure is thus obtained after filling electrolyte and encapsulation.

Rechargeable battery structure having a stacked structure of sequentially folded cells

The present invention relates to a stack battery structure, which possesses a high energy density and can avoid the existence of a die volume. Through the means of separating binder and active materials and of rearranging the position of binder, the positive/negative electrode thus fabricated can be glued with a polymeric separator membrane via the binder in the stacking and pressuring process without affecting the percentage of active materials in each unit of weight. This stack battery structure obviates the problem of a die volume caused by rolling the cell electrode into a spiral in the prior art. It also increases the energy density of the battery.

The present invention discloses a dust-proof and weather resistant photovoltaic module, including (a) a front substrate of light transmittable safety glass plate, wherein a photo-catalyst composition is applied to the safety glass plate; (b) a back substrate of weather resistant polyester polymer; and (c) a photosensitizer including electrical circuit copper foils and polymeric enclosing material (EVA) which is located between the front substrate and the back substrate. The method for fabricating a front substrate of a photovoltaic module includes applying a photo-catalyst composition onto a safety glass plate; evaporating the photo-catalyst composition to a gel; and seating the gel to Rutile titanium dioxide. The photo-catalyst composition includes a metal oxide, an acid regent and a surfactant.
