The disclosure demonstrates a collapsible wheeled walker having two side frames supported above a walking surface with attached wheel assemblies. The side frames are interconnected by an X-folder apparatus. The X-folder apparatus has first and second elongate elements rotatably coupled to each other with the bottom ends of the elements rotatably attached to the bottoms of the side frames, and the top ends of the elements having perpendicular support elements that in the deployed open position, engage support brackets formed on the inner sides of the side frames. The support brackets have protrusions extending from bracket support surfaces to engage complementary apertures formed in the perpendicular support elements to provide stability to the wheeled walker.

Collapsible wheeled walker with stability enhancing bracket apparatus and method

A rollator including a frame having first and second side frames extending along respective ones of a pair of planes. First and second upper body supports are coupled to and disposable at an adjustable height above the frame. A pair of forearm gutters are coupled to respective ones of the first and second upper body supports for engaging and supporting a respective forearm of the user during use. Each forearm gutter includes a peripheral edge, a forward midpoint on the peripheral edge, and a rearward midpoint on the peripheral edge. Each forearm gutter defines a longitudinal axis bisecting the respective forearm gutter and passing through the forward midpoint and the rearward midpoint. The forward midpoint and the rearward midpoint on each forearm gutter fall between the pair of planes.

The apparatus may be converted to a transport chair by locking front wheel and releasing the rear wheels, and sliding the movable seat to the rear position. The case includes a first member having a first plainer section and a first perimetric wall formed thereon, and a second member having a second planer section and a second perimetric wall formed thereon. The first perimetric wall and the second perimetric wall are engaged forming an overlap and a sealing structure for a watertight seal. The sealing structure includes a mated ring and a ridge-to-groove interlock. The case further includes a plurality interface feature accesses, including an optical access, an audio access, a button, and at least one open access for electrical connection. The case provides a cover with a plug adapted to cover up the open electrical connection access to form a watertight seal.
