A user requests to join a meeting is detected. The meeting includes a meeting audio stream of one or more participant audio streams that include participant timestamps that correspond to when one or more other users are in the meeting. The user is prompted for an authentication credential based on the detecting the request to join the meeting. A participant profile of the user is determined based the authentication credential. The user is authorized access to the meeting and a first timestamp is saved. A first audio stream of the user is recorded. The user is identified as having left the meeting and a second timestamp is saved. A transcript of the meeting audio stream is generated based on the first audio stream and the one or more participant audio streams. The first timestamp, the second timestamp, and the meeting are associated with the participant profile.

Resource lock ownership identification is provided across processes and systems of a clustered computing environment by a method which includes saving by a process, based on a user acquiring a resource lock, a lock information record to a shared data structure of the clustered computing environment. The lock information record includes user identification data identifying the user-owner of the resource lock acquired on a system executing the process. The method also includes referencing, by another process, the lock information record of the shared data structure to ascertain the user identification data identifying the user-owner of the resource lock, and thereby facilitate processing within the clustered computing environment.

Identifying resource lock ownership across a clustered computing environment

Dynamic overflow processing is provided in a multi-user computing environment, which includes receiving, from a user, a request for a new user session at a port of a process of the multi-user computing environment, where the process supports multiple users via the port, and determining that accommodating the new user session will result in resource usage of the process exceeding a predetermined capacity threshold for the process. Based on determining that capacity threshold will be exceeded, the process redirects the request for the new user session to an overflow process started by the process, where the overflow process is an additional instance of the process running within the multi-user computing environment. The process receives a response from the overflow process to the request for the new user session, and forwards the received response to the request for the new user session to the user.

Embodiments for intelligent distribution of data in a computing environment by a processor. An appropriateness level of media data based on a plurality of factors for sending the media data from one or more computing devices may be determined. A first communication protocol may be selected for transmitting the media data according to the appropriateness level. The media data may be transferred using the first communication protocol from the one or more computing devices to one or more recipient computing devices within a defined proximity according to the appropriateness level.
