An electrochemical device including a bipolar current collector. The bipolar current collector is hermetically connected to an outer package. Cavities independent of each other are formed on two opposite sides of the bipolar current collector. Each cavity contains an electrode assembly and an electrolytic solution. An electrode active material is disposed on at least one surface of the bipolar current collector. Adjacent electrode assemblies are connected in series. The electrochemical device according to this application not only improves the safety of the electrochemical device, but the electrode active material on the surface of the bipolar current collector also participates in a reaction process in the electrochemical device, so that the electrochemical device achieves both a high-voltage output and a relatively high energy density.

Electrochemical device and electronic device

An electrode assembly includes an electrode plate and an embedded tab provided on the electrode plate. A spinning layer is provided on a surface of the electrode plate, the spinning layer covers the surface of the electrode plate and is in contact with the surface of the electrode plate, and the surface of the electrode plate includes a surface of the tab. The spinning layer replaces a conventional separator, and the spinning layer and the electrode plate are integrated as a whole. Especially in a battery structure with the embedded tabs, because the spinning layer is able to isolate metal burrs. The spinning layer replaces the green glue originally affixed on the tab region, thereby eliminating the glue affixed on the tab region.

Electrode assembly, and electrochemical apparatus and electronic apparatus including such electrode assembly

An electrochemical device includes a first electrode assembly, a second electrode assembly, and a packaging shell. The first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly B are each located in a separate cavity in the packaging shell. Two opposite-polarity tabs of the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly are connected in the packaging shell. The connected two opposite-polarity tabs comprise a first tab extending out of the packaging shell. Such design of extending the tabs and the design of ion insulation between the hermetic cavities improve the charge and discharge performance and the product quality of the electrochemical device.

Electrochemical device and electronic device containing the same

The embodiments of the present application relate to an electrode sheet and a battery cell including the same. The electrode sheet according to an embodiment comprises an electrode sheet body and a plurality of tabs connected to the electrode sheet body. The width of each of the plurality of tabs is different from one another; or the length of each of the plurality of tabs is different from one another. The electrode sheet and the battery cell provided in the embodiments of the present application ensure that each of the tabs in the electrode sheet can electrically conduct well with the tab lead. Thus, the battery cell provided in the present application has the advantage of good electrical conductivity.

The present application relates to an electrochemical device. The electrochemical device includes: at least one electrode, the at least one electrode having a first surface; and a fiber coating layer, the fiber coating layer including a fiber and being disposed on the first surface. The electrochemical device has the advantages of high energy density, strong liquid retention ability, good drop resistance, good chemical stability and the like since its fiber coating layer has small thickness, high porosity and stronger interfacial adhesion to the electrode.

The present application relates to an anode, and an electrochemical device and an electronic device comprising the same. Embodiments of the present application provided an anode comprising: a current collector, a first anode structure layer and a second anode structure layer. The first anode structure layer comprises a first framework material and the second anode structure layer comprises a second framework material, wherein the first anode structure layer is disposed between the current collector and the second anode structure layer, and the first framework material has a higher oxidation-reduction potential for lithium ion or electronic conductivity than the second framework material. When the anode with double-layer structure provided by the present application is charged, the space utilization ratio of the anode can be enhanced, the rate capability of the electrochemical device can be enhanced, the formation of lithium dendrites may be inhibited, and the volume change amount of the anode can be reduced, thereby enhancing the safety performance and cycle performance of the electrochemical device.

The present application relates to a composite current collector, and a composite electrode and an electrochemical device comprising the same. The composite current collector of the present application comprises an intermediate layer, a first metal layer, a second metal layer, and a through hole. The intermediate layer has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the first metal layer is disposed on the first surface, and the second metal layer is disposed on the second surface. The through hole penetrates through the intermediate layer, the first metal layer and the second metal layer, wherein the through hole is filled with an electrically insulated ionic conductor.
