Hydrophilic phosphorus ligand and method for separation and recovery of catalyst

A method of forming foam material is provided, which includes mixing 100 parts by weight of a compound having cyclic carbonate groups and a foaming agent to form a foaming composition, wherein the foaming agent includes 3 to 13 parts by weight of carbamate salt and 15 to 65 parts by weight of amino compound. The foaming composition is heated to 100&#xb0; C. to 170&#xb0; C. for decomposing the carbamate salt into COand amino compound, and the amino compound is reacted with the compound having cyclic carbonate groups to form the foam material.

The disclosure provides a catalyst carrier, including a nano carbon material; and a polymer grafted on the nano carbon material, wherein the polymer has a repetitive unit comprising a phosphorous atom. The disclosure further provides a catalyst deposited on the catalyst carrier of the disclosure. The catalyst of the disclosure has high reactivity, and is easy to be recovered in C&#x2014;C coupling reactions such as a Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction.

An acrylic copolymer with high heat-resistance is provided. The acrylic copolymer includes repeat units of a monomer of Formula (1) and repeat units of a methacrylic monomer derivative: wherein x is 1-3 and y is 0-3.
