The present disclosure provides a camera calibration method and a system thereof. The method includes setting up a camera in a space; establishing or selecting two line segments in the space, and obtaining an image of the space including the two line segments, and obtaining heights and image coordinates of upper and lower endpoints of the two line segments; calculating a focal length, a first rotation angle, a second rotation angle and a third element of a translation vector of the camera based on the information of the two line segments; calculating a third rotation angle of the camera based on a reference direction and the camera information obtained above; calculating a first element and a second element of the translation vector of the camera based on a reference point and the camera information obtained above.

A method for detecting people entering and leaving a field is provided in an embodiment of the disclosure. The method includes the following. An event detection area corresponding to an entrance is set, and the event detection area includes an upper boundary, a lower boundary, and an internal area, and the lower boundary includes a left boundary, a right boundary, and a bottom boundary; a person image corresponding to a person in an image stream is detected and tracked; and whether the person passes through or does not pass through the entrance is determined according to a first detection result and a second detection result.

The disclosure provides a load balancing method, a load balancing system, a load balancing device and a topology reduction method. According to one exemplary embodiment, a method operable to store video data and/or audio data is adapted to a first peer of a video and audio data system having a plurality of peers, and each peer has a corresponding storage space. In the method, before the first peer has not received a service request of a second peer of the plurality of peers, determines whether the video and audio data received by the first peer is stored in its corresponding storage space with a dynamically adjustable first video and audio storing probability, and extends a time interval of the first peer for storing received video and audio data; and when the first peer receives the service request of the second peer, sets a second video and audio storing probability. Thereby the second peer obtains at least one stored video and audio data from the first peer.

Disclosed herein are a method and an apparatus for stream sharing, the apparatus comprising a buffer module, a sharing module, and an adjusting module. The sharing module receives a stream based on a first scheduling window and stores received segments of that stream in the buffer module, each received segment corresponding to a receiving time-point. A sharing request including a second scheduling window is received. Among the received segments the sharing module sends one or more requested segments, each of which further corresponding to a sending time-point. The adjusting module selectively adjusts the first scheduling window based on the corresponding receiving time-point and sending time-point of each requested segment. Also disclosed is a stream sharing system which comprises a stream source apparatus for hosting a stream and at least one stream sharing apparatus.

Stream sharing method, apparatus, and system

A buffer and output method and a buffer module for a multimedia stream are provided, wherein multimedia stream packets are received and stored into a first buffer, and when an actual remaining time calculated according to an accumulated idle time and a buffer time, is greater than a remaining time threshold value, following steps are performed. A first present time is read, and a sleep instruction is executed, so as to wait for a preset idle time. A second present time is read, and an actual idle time different from the preset idle time is calculated according to the first present time and the second present time. A part of buffer units are enabled according to the accumulated idle time accumulated according to the actual idle time, to output the stored multimedia stream packets to a second buffer of a player.
