A display system includes a display panel, a display driving circuit and a power management circuit. Display panel includes a plurality of pixel circuits. Display driving circuit is coupled to the display panel and configured to periodical signals and a data signal to the display panel. Data signal is configured to assign a gray level to each of the pixel circuits. Power management circuit is coupled to the display driving circuit and the display panel and is configured to provide a first operating voltage and a second operating voltage to the pixel circuits. The first operating voltage is higher than the second operating voltage. Display driving circuit is configured to provide a first horizontal synchronizing signal to the power management circuit. Power management circuit is configured to adjust at least one of the first operating voltage and the second operating voltage in response to the first horizontal synchronizing signal.

Display system, power management circuit and related operation method

A display device includes a display panel, a power integrated circuit, a comparison circuit and a selection circuit. The display panel is configured to receive a system cross voltage. The power integrated circuit is configured to provide the system cross voltage to the display panel and includes a current conversion circuit configured to convert a calibration current outputted by the display panel when displaying a calibration frame into a detection voltage. The comparison circuit is configured to compare the detection voltage with a threshold to generate a comparison result. The selection circuit is configured to determine a magnitude of the system cross voltage according to the comparison result. The power integrated circuit is configured to generate the system cross voltage according to the magnitude of the system cross voltage determined by the selection circuit to provide the system cross voltage to the display panel.

Display device, calibration method and frame display method

A method for driving a display device is provided. The display device includes a first driving circuit and a pixel array. The driving method includes the following step. In a first mode, by using the first driving circuit, a first light emission start signal is received to drive the pixel array. The first light emission start signal includes a plurality of first pulses, and duration of each of the first pulses is respectively overlapped with at least a part of a period of each of a first frame and at least one second frame. In a second mode, by using the first driving circuit, a second light emission start signal is received to drive the pixel array. The second light emission start signal includes a second pulse. Duration of the second pulse is overlapped with at least a part of a period of the first frame, and the second light emission start signal remains at a first level in a period of the at least one second frame.

Method for driving display device

An OLED panel includes a data driver and an AMOLED. The data driver receives an input voltage and the data driver may generate a data output signal. The AMOLED may receive a positive supply voltage and a negative supply voltage and emit light according to the data output signal. In addition, the input voltage and the positive supply voltage are substantially the same.

OLED panel and power driving system associated to same

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display device includes a plurality of OLED pixels, a gate driver, a source driver, and a voltage controller. Each of the OLED pixels includes a current control switch and an OLED. A first end of the current control switch is coupled to a first voltage source. A first end of the OLED is coupled to a second end of the current control switch, and a second end of the OLED is coupled to a second voltage source. The gate driver is configured to output scan signals to sequentially turn on the plurality of OLED pixels. The source driver is configured to output display voltages to the plurality of OLED pixels. The voltage controller is configured to adjust a voltage difference between the first voltage source and the second voltage source according to a maximum grey level value of display data of a frame.
