A generative adversarial network performs face anonymization. In a first step, an input image showing a face to be anonymized is received. Furthermore, an input vector with control data for face anonymization is received. The generative adversarial network then generates an output image in which the face is anonymized in accordance with the control data of the input vector.

Retrieving public keys in a memory constrained system is performed by generating a plurality of public cryptographic keys and private cryptographic keys using a cryptographic technique and characterizing each of the plurality of public cryptographic keys and corresponding private cryptographic keys into an associated first cryptographic component and a second cryptographic component. At least one relationship matrix, including the first cryptographic component of each of the plurality of public cryptographic keys and corresponding private cryptographic keys, is created based on predetermined rules. Subsequently, a first cryptographic component and a second cryptographic component of a private cryptographic key are received when a public cryptographic key is required, and the public cryptographic key is retrieved based on the first cryptographic component and the second cryptographic component of the private cryptographic key using the relationship matrix and the predetermined rules.

Method and system to retrieve public keys in a memory constrained system

Cryptography is used to validate the security of a vehicle. An authentication system integrated in a zone master Electronic Control Unit (ECU) of a predefined zone requests pre-allocated signed unique cryptographic key shares from each of multiple primary ECUs associated with the zone master ECU, when there is an authentication requirement. Thereafter, the authentication system computes a first unique signature of the predefined zone using a predefined number of the key shares and verifies the validity of the computed first unique signature using a public key. Finally, the verified first unique signature is provided to a vehicle master ECU associated with the zone master ECU, to enable it to activate safety functionalities associated with the primary ECUs. Thereafter, the same method is repeated for multiple secondary ECUs. In this way, achievement of fast, non-sequential, and single step validation of vehicle security is enabled.

This invention relates to a method for optimising usageof electricity from the grid and energy storage comprising: forecasting a predetermined number of hours of load at a predetermined interval to determine a forecasted load profile; subtracting a peak load from the forecasted load profile by a maximum amount of electricity that can be charged into or discharged from the energy storage to determine a subtracted peak; smoothening peakswithin 30 minutes period that are more than the subtracted peak to obtain a final forecast result; and determining optimised battery setpoint actions based on the final forecast result and energy storage operating constraints.

In one embodiment, a SOT device is provided that replaces a traditional NM layer adjacent to a magnetic layer with a NM layer that is compatible with CMOS technology. The NM layer may include a CMOS-compatible composite (e.g., CuPt) alloy, a TI (e.g., BiSe, BiSe, BiSb, etc.) or a TI/non-magnetic metal (e.g., BiSe/Ag, BiSe/Ag, BiSb/Ag, etc.) interface, that provides efficient spin current generation. Apparatus is disclosed for steering a directional audio beam that is self-demodulated from an ultrasound carrier. The apparatus includes means for modulating a carrier signal with an audio signal and means for adjusting the amplitude and phase of at least one of the audio signal and/or the carrier signal to steer the audio beam to a desired direction. The apparatus also includes means for generating an ultrasound beam in the desired direction driven by the modulated carrier signal. The apparatus may include means for weighting the audio and/or carrier signal by a zeroth order Bessel function to synthesize a Bessel distribution source. A corresponding method for steering a directional audio beam is also disclosed. A harmonic generator may be used to generate harmonics of low frequencies in the audio signal. The harmonics may provide (upon demodulation) a psycho-acoustic impression of improved perception of low frequencies. Further, a modulated ultrasonic signal or an unmodulated audio signal may be band-passed into two or more different band-limited signals. The band-limited signals may be amplified and transmitted by ultrasonic transducers having mechanical resonance frequencies substantially equal to a characteristic frequency of the band-limited signals. Ultrasonic processing of the audio signal may include square root methods without generating large numbers of harmonics.
