An electromagnetic control device (), having a housing (), which has a plastic overmolding () and a unit for fastening to a component () that holds the electromagnetic control device (fastening unit ()). A connection is provided between the electromagnetic control device and the holding component. This is achieved in that the fastening unit () has at least one locking clip () and one housing-side locking-clip holder (), and the locking clip () has two legs (), a connection section (), and a locking section () on at least one leg (). The locking section () is designed to interact with a locking contour () of the component () that holds the electromagnetic control device ().
